We stayed at the Sea Breeze in Aberdovey, great location with sea view and great room. There was only a triple available so plenty of space for the two of us:) and I can recommend it. Very friendly owners who helped us with everything since my husband was not able to carry the luggage...a 10 out of 10!

Gday

Thanks for the visit and taking the time to comment. I think you are right FZ50 works very well indeed under good lighting conditions. I often prefer it to more expensive equipment. It is a very convenient camera to carry.

This shows off the FZ50 quite well
http://public.fotki.com/m...ek-conserva/p1000983.html however it didnt do all that well in photo contests.

Cheers

Interesting photos Pete, I love the hustle & bustle of the yards at sale time. Over here the small yards are all disappearing & they're building larger regional centres. It's a very emotional issue for local farmers, it's just happened in my town Bathurst & a lot of farmers got very upset when they closed our yards down. Now they have to travel to the new complex. I took a few shots when I passed there but there were no sales on that day:

Oh wow Pete, thank you so much. I love your country and would love to visit one day, you have so many cool castles & buildings. My father in law came from Iron Bridge, so since I've been married it's been a sort of bucket list to visit the places he talked about with such fond memories.

Gidday Pete,

I posted some pics for a friend of mine who did a big tour of Scotland & England & I was wondering if you had a minute to see if you could identify any of the buildings?

Yeah, I just noticed that. I was adding a friend, after warning about cheaters in the DA contest again. Luckily Fotki removed the person's entry. Yay!

FireLillyCreations Premium user United States wrote: Friday, September 11, 2009 - 2:27 PM

I havent added anyone lately, so I dont know. They have been changing several things on here, so maybe that is why.. :)

I worked it out, they seem to have changed it to the new pop out menu that comes when you scroll over the avatars. One of the selections is to add as a friend, it does work that way.

Well hopefully now that they've started they could keep all these guys in a database and ban all their IP's from posting on fotki.

It sure doesn't make up for the Ashes but any crumbs will do at the moment for a gutted nation !!

Gidday mate,

Like many fotkins I have idiots visiting from time to time & leaving pages of rubbish comments, but this morning I noticed the most recent incidents are all gone. I've asked fotki if they deleted them - all comments made by those IP addresses or something?

Another solution may be that the culprit got an attack of conscience but I doubt that very much.

If so, bravo & a good move. Has this happened to you, not getting the comments, but having them deleted?
