RESPONSE TO KRISTISRISI: Hey girl, First of all, thanks for coming by my album! YAY! Second, Im at a new one...(the one Im posting from) I've saved you as a friend but I couldnt comment on ur pics and also you have no guestbook. So, I will post my response here:
Thanks for seeking advice from me. I'm flattered! WOOT! *lol* But you know, I'm biased, but my suggestion is to go completely natural! YAY! It is possible to have long, thick relaxed hair, but IMO, its rare. Its definately much easier to have that with natural hair, b/c the bonds of your hair is not broken down by any chemicals, so your hair structure is not weaker.
But anyways, for now, I would say dont relax anymore. Even if you decide you want to keep relaxed hair, give it a break for now. Have you heard of "Aphogee: Treatment for Damaged Hair" ? You should use that. It's a protein treatment to strengthen your hair every 6 weeks or more. Its not very expensive and you should be able to get it at Sally's or your local beauty supply. It hardens your hair, so you dont want to mess with it while its hard. After you rinse it out, be sure to deep deep deep CONDITION!
Also, keep with the protective styles, the wig is a good idea. Be sure to deep condition once a week. oil your ends with jojoba oil/olive oil/almond oil. If your hair is in braids underneath your wig, keep them moisturized. Theres plenty of braid sprays. I think for now, protective styles will be best.
Remember this will be a process and it will take time...but your hair will thank you. I think sew-ins are even a no no on a regular basis b/c it pulls at your braids. I think its best to do the wig thing. Or braids. Make sure your braids are not tight, but firm. They shouldnt pull at all.
Or....if you are daring, you can just shave it all off, start over....rock a twa, get you some cute earrings....and go be cute! *LOL*:)
Best of luck, if you have any questions/concerns let me know....I'm more than willing to give any advice you need.

Hey there Lady! Thank you for the tips and for visiting my page!! I added you as a friend. I like how care-free you are about your journey, (I read your "about me" page) I think your fro is adorable!
I really enjoyed looking through your albums! I admire your weight loss journey. I'm trying to lose weight at this time also. Keep up the good work! Thanks for stopping by my place and leaving such a wonderful comment:D
yeah I usually always read the ingredients but the funny ironic thing is I use suave humectant professionals for a cowash which is pretty much supposed to have the same ingredients as nexxus and it leaves me .......moisturized LOL. I noticed the nexxus has mineral oil...I think I need to relook up suave's ingredients..i could have sworn it didn't have any mineral oil in it. I figured out why the nexxus cowash didn't though because of the mineral oil..girl that things is expensive...i have to use this up or i will lose my mind LOL.
Hey missy I didn't realize you had another album..I checked it out you and your hunny are so cute and wild together ^_^. I thought the two ponytailed twists were so cute too.
Oh and I'm waiting until I'm 30 to have kids LOL. BTW I can't post in your other album so I came in here to complain haha.
Best with your vegetarian/vegan journey. I would say, take it one step at a time...eliminate things gradually if you have to. ANd for veg. meal ideas, my fav site is: allrecipes.com.....
