It's been more than a year since turning myself in a passive mode here on Fotki... The main reason is a tremendous growth of activity at Zorz Studios resulting from greater exposure, increasing referrals and bookings, taking on new artistic projects, travel, establishing a shared location in our Manhattan studio, and active presence on Facebook.

I would love to make a comeback to Fotki to share all the spectacular work we did... but need to allocate time for that - a seemingly impossible task nowadays...

The months of post-processing came to the end... The long-awaited album, "Heirdom of Atlantis", is now published.

I have the 28 135 and use it quite a bit myself......Like you said...it's good all around.....A photographer friend in K.C. has several two eights in different sizes and they're really fun too shoot with.......He does a lot of commerical work and can write them off.......

Iv'e never owned a scanner....I know....Shame on me...Iv'e looked at a few and the res. is really good on some......I prefer Epson in printers.......
But.....Most of my old film shots don't have the same artistic quality as domr of my digital one's....Lot's of party style shots where too much Vodka was consumed.......

Thanks for the tip on the scanner.......I'm dying tooo try my hand.....I like editing almost as much as shooting......

I would like to share a news about an interesting photography seminar conducted by a talented photographer and educator Ed Pierce. He will also be joined by 9 other photographers in their 68-city tour, named Captivated by the Light. It is a 4-hour seminar packed with information regarding lighting, workflow, and marketing - essential to an aspiring photographer, interested in elevating his/her results to a professional level. Two 2-hour DVDs are also provided and are included in the price of admission.

Here's an exciting part. The advertised admission fee is a moderate $49 but per your request, I'll share a code with you which will reduce it to mere $19 for 8-hour material... (As a disclaimer, I am not benefiting in any possible way from this gesture, and I paid the same $19.) I couldn't miss this opportunity and registered for 4/14 seminar in NJ. There are dozens more locations and available dates left across the US. Regular time for the seminar is 6:30-10:30 PM.

The only reservation I have about this low price is a moderate load of advertising during the seminar (lighting equipment, software, etc.). Well, they all have sponsors, and every one I attended pushed a product or two. Those that don't, charge hundreds... no stranno..na originalah fokus est'...konechno, ne super sharp-sharp...ja tak ne delaju prosto...pochti...no vse printy vyshli sharp, krome nekotoryh of Jennifer -- tam byl slow shutter speed...too slow, no ja pechatal 8x10 i te tozhe vyshli priemlemy...
tak chto terjaus' chto i skazat'..ili monitor eto ili low res na fotkah.. no budu imet' v vidu...

A ona sdelanna iz petli...chto risovat' mozhet i udobno, a v celom...niznaju-niznaju, vopschim...
u menja tozhe deshevyj vyhigatel' est'...no u nego raznye nasadki /a ne tol'ko petlja/, i vot s nimi prikol'nye veschi mozhno delat'..hotja, delo vkusa ai privychki, po hodu...
ja tak srazu pro tetku podumal, chto javno svoj pervyj pajal'nik ona u muzha zabrala...proschu proschenija pro kolambur...a vot zaceni portrety..chto dumaesh'?
