Wow!! Your Allison is magnificent! Practical question, are they still available and will they continue to be available? I'd like to build a couple or three in full aviation configuration, including modifying one to a V-1710C long nose and a V1710E remote power version (used on the P-39). And, who knows, maybe a 3420 coupled unit one of these years. I'd like to order one fairly soon to get started. Been struggling with helping a friend scratch-build his own Allison with only marginal success.

Yes, they are available for sale.  Here is a link to our catalog where we sell the 1/8 scale version

      http://www.tdrcatalog.com/servlet/StoreFront

We have had luck printing these engines in 1/12 and 1/16 scales too, but it is done at the customers risk because they were not designed to go that small.

What scale were you interested in?

    Hi

Don't know who I'm writing to. Seen the wirte up in Model Cars Resin Talk. Decided to investigate. The Morgantown reference on the web site makes me wonder if Gary Kolchock is one of the four members of TDR, and if that is who I am writing to.

A friend gave me a 1/8th scale `32 Ford Coupe model many years ago, before I was married, 27+. I have photos of a `32 coupe I took at the Indy speedway parking lot. It had a 426 Hemi stuffed in it. I took a photo at camshaft level from the front with the heads and valve covers hanging out both sides of the radiator. AWESOME! Like the box photo of Hasagawa's SR-71. Have never decided how to build this big kit partly do to the limited availability of parts.

Prices are a little stiff, but you can't take it with you. My seasonal job make good money from March thru September. Gives me something to definatly think about. A Hemi with a 4-speed, 9" rear end.
Think about a big block Chevy.

      Hey Bill:

No, Gary is not a member of TDR Innovations but he is a good friend of mine. He lives about a mile up the road from me and we work together. Though Gary is not a member of our group he had a lot of influence in getting it started. His encouragement and advice was the seed that sprouted into TDR.

You wont be disappointed with our products. We put a lot of work into the small details of the engines we make. If you want a little practice working with our material and don't want to spend much we have the TDR universal kit, our jack/engine stand kit, or maybe our Carb kit.

We will be introducing our new BBC and our SBC kits in the very near future. So keep checking back.

      Thanks
      Tim
