Hi Suz, I noticed that you were taking photos at the game this past Sunday between Partizan Premiere and Richmond City FC. Will you be posting those photos in the near future? Thanks. And great photos!
I'm definitely behind on the photos but will hopefully be getting them up sometime this week, and if not, next week at the very latest. Sorry for the delay! And thanks for the compliment =)
Thanks! Wow, that's a lot of photos for just one half! Question, are you available for hire? I'm thinking about my son's upcoming college season in the Fall. Like your work here.
As always I enjoyed these. I'm curious about what size lens you used and also about the lighting. The irridescent purple one almost looks like you used a filter. You have captured the way I like to think of September.
I enjoyed the finch and cardinal. I never knew birds had such expressive faces. That alien looking flower that's white in the middle and lavender closer to the edges was gorgeous. I've never been to the Botanical Gardens ( I am only 10 mins. away), but you have inspired me.
Good luck with you're project 365. I just did a fotki search and some of your photos came up. I almost gave it up 2 months ago, but someone inspired me to contiune, saying I should make it more perosnal. So everytime I'm stuck, I take a photo of the family. I know I'm going to cherish these pictures when I look back once finishing. It'll be great to thing to say you once done after completing it.
Thanks for the good luck; I will need it. I try to make it somewhat personal but a lot of time that's hard when you don't have family close around; not allowed to take photos at work, etc. Looked throuhg some of your photos and you do awesome work. I'm both impressed and jealous :-)
Thanks for the kind words Suz. When I first started I tried to take interesting and arty shots everyday, then really struggled to find time once my daughter was born. I ended up making it more personal a couple of months later and so glad I did. Seems a little easier when you have family close by and looking forward to looking back in a few or so years time :-)
GREAT shots of the game Sunday. Both of my children look superb..the one on the field playing soccer, and the lazy, hairy but sweet Madison taking a break on the sidelines.... Thanks for great pics, and it was nice meeting you. Am sure we'll see you again at Joey's game! Vicki
We're doing Surprise! cheesecake and cider at our house for Pete's birthday this Thursday (Oct. 9). Sorry for the late notice - I suck at planning. Anyway, you're welcome to come if you'd like! Email me at the above - clarentine at gmail dot com - and I'll give you directions.
Its me again. I hope all is going well with you. Looks like the soccer scene is keeping you busy, keep up the great work!!!!!!!! Do you plan on going to any of the "so called" hockey games this year? Stay in touch.
Its been a while since we last talked. I hope things are going well for you. Enjoy the upcomming season with the hockey team and all of your sports. Take many pictures for me to, I see you got a 20d. Anyways, take care.
