I cannot believe you are selling your family's photos and that they all gave you permission to do so publicly and I cannot believe our relatives know that you are doing this. Sorry to say that I am a relative. That is just shameful greed. How sad I am for you. Apparently the Lykins line of my ancestry is not one to be proud of. I have read of our Lykins family running their own father, brother and son out of town because he believed it was not right to own another man. Now more shame here. What gives you the right to try to sell my aunt's and great grandparents' photos.
Hey Anonymously, Ron spent many hours uploading these images to preserve these images for our families and for generations to come. As we all know too well,photographs are easily lost in fire, flood and moves. I believe you owe him your gratitude. These images have been preserved and are shared freely to all who wish to view them and may have a connection to the Lykins family. While Ron has taken the time to preserve these treasures of our shared history others hord photos and family history in their dark and lonely closets never to be seen. We all share the shame of our ancestors. I do not believe our grandfather ran anyone out of town nor do I believe our grandfather was a slave owner. To align this part of the Lykins family with slavery and racism demonstrates your ignorance of the truth and down right laziness to even investigate the purpose of this website and service. You may wish to approach further communications with an open mind and heart before you begin some ill- informed rant. Put away your cowardice and reveal yourself! First off, you did not identify who you were so I DOUBT you are a Lykins relative of any kind. Second, this is a photo sharing site. Anyone can download one of my photos for free, or they can pay to have Fotki send them a print. I DO NOT MARK UP MY PHOTOS OR MAKE MONEY FROM THEM. greed? I can't imagine anyone other than a REAL FAMILY MEMBER wanting a copy of one of these photos.
