Hey Girl! Thanks for stopping by. I do henna once a month and I like it, especially the subtle red color it leaves on my hair. It is messy but now that I have a routine it isn't so bad.
Thanks for dropping by. I'm in awe you've been natural 10 years. Was expecting the biggest BAA ever....you are way too scissor happy, lol. I'm coming up on my 8th and still feel like a newbie sometimes. Stay blessed.
Loving your updates Ms. Risse. Glad to see how the shea butter/coconut oil combo is working just as wonderfully on yours as it seems to be working on mine.
Hey there! Thanks for stopping by! I am still rockng the low cut. I found a guy that cuts hair for eight bucks!!!! He does a good job. I can do eight dollars a month. Plus I don't spend 60 seconds on my hair. Brush and go. I love it! I mainly use almond, or coconut oil on my hair and maybe a little gel depending on my mood. My new barber told me that he wants me to train my hair to get waves(no gel needed). Not sure if it will work or not, but he isconvinced it will. He said that I have a bunch of cowlicks in my hair and he wants to give the hair some direction. He is funny!!!! I see u are still doing things big yourself! Keep up the good work!!!
Thank you for visiting my album. I am currently in Bagram, Afghanistan, been here since AUG 09. I have from 2 to 8 months left to go.
On NOV 09 my braid locs became 1 year old. I will make updates as I can, for now I have added pics from the last few month. I will have to get some close ups of my locs in the next few days or so.
Thank you for the add and for leaving such sweet, sweet comments in my albums :-) I was reading your "about me" section and thought it was very interesting. It's awesome that you've been natural for 10 years!!! Yeah, I think the the growth of the natural hair movement is amazing!! I wish I had the courage 10 years ago to say no to the chemicals. I was ignorant then and thought my hair was fly. LOL!!
I enjoyed your albums. Your hair is definitely growing, and looks very healhty!! Keep up the good work and keep inspiring :-) Looking forward to more of your updates!
