It would be fun to get together! Trouble is, we're visiting my in-laws in Sarasota and driving back and forth to Tampa to visit friends so I'm not sure I'd be able to get enough free time. But if it's alright, I'll drop you a note when I get there to let you know for sure!
Rich, thanks so much for the guestbook entry and for comments on some of my shots. As to your offer, GAME ON! I have to figure out when I can steal away for 4 hours, but I will definitely do it. I'm curious as to the timer aspect of it!
I want to take better pictures because I think I tend to take very "obvious" shots and I want to develop more of a unique voice (hmm...vision, since this is a visual medium).
As for challenging you...(rubs hands together, gleam in her eye) I'll come up with somthin'...don't you worry...;-)

A conversation I witnessed between my sons (6 and 7) and daughter (5) today: The boys were building this tower with their wooden blocks. My daughter asked them "can I join you guys, what are you doing ?" My eldest son answered " OK, we are building a tower ..." So my daughter answered "thank you and you guys should not build it that way ..."
Now, that's how our world turns ... that's how the picking order works ;-)

LOL I had a good laugh so it was worth the effort and I can see what Fotki means when they state they simply cannot allow because they will get loads of sh...t in the contest! ;)...but it sounds a bit strange anyway! Hi Rich, I just want to inform you that my entry for the Smell contest has been declined! I finally did it.... It seems to be offensive....I have no clue and I am speechless....LOL They accept the most ridiculous pictures of very poor quality but a well lit and very crisp shot of a beautiful heap of pooh seems be be offensive. Pffffffffffff...I am almost ashamed to be part of this kindergarten community. Problem is that I will only be able to shoot empty bottles ... and these beers are pretty strong so I don't know what the results will be after I "shot" some ...
