Thank you for the nice comments on my contest photos. I so enjoyed viewing your albums. Your photos give us a chance to ponder on the beauty of lepidopteran design in a detail that we may surely miss as they flit by in the garden. Great job. Hello Phil, you sure picked a hard subject to capture when you started with butterflies but I have to say,they are top notch photos for a newcomer to photography! Excellent pictures & I hope you will take more pictures,too! Have a great week!......................Diane

Happy Wednesday Phil, Thank you so much for all the help with my butterflies.. Some of them I thought I knew, and you confirmed it for me. Some I had no idea what they were.. :):) I saw a little black one today I followed around trying to get a shot.haha!! But no go.. :) I'll try again. The butterflies are just starting to show up around here.. We have lots of flowers planted.. so as soon as they start blooming I will get some good shots.. hopefully!! The Tiger swallowtails love the sunflowers so make sure and plant some.. :):) I also let some weeds grow.. as they seem to like them as well.. so do the bugs which I love taking shots of.. There are so many around.. that most of us just pass by and never even notice. I just want you to know it sure is nice having you around....... Hey, thanks for the guestbook entry. I checked out your site here and these photos are magnificent. I'm sure you had to edit many to get these and that plus the taking of the photos is a lot of work.
