Hey there Peter Poo, Thanks for letting me know I made it to first page!! I decided at the last minute I didn't want the big Stinky there all alone :)

Hello Peter,
Thank you for your congrats and the many encouraging comments. You mentioned about fishing, I noticed that it's a very popular activity in Istanbul. Everyone would line up on the bridge (not quite as beautiful as the Sydney's Coat Hanger) and just throw in the rods. :)

Hi Peter! I would ask you a favour: The most charming girl in the world's birthday! It would be cool if you also congratulated her! I ask all who can. I want her to simply scrap the guest book of congratulations! I think it will be very pleased for it! Thank you very much!

Hi Peter!

They've let me stop "working" long enough to allow me to thank you for visiting my albums and leaving such great and appreciated comments. I was able to quickly come up to speed on what everyone is doing on HDR. You have some great images here and I will come back to study the technique and follow your progress. I hope to join your ranks shortly. But for now, I must return to work and earn my keep.

Cheers!

Hi Peter
I enjoyed my stroll through your "architecture" album but will come back as I'd like to see more. The colours in your photos are really great.

Hi there Peter. Thanks for all your great comments on my great kids!! I thought I should let you know I haven't pooped my pants yet!! haha But I was pretty happy about my first place!
I must say that the BIG stinky has helped me a great deal in learning all about HDR and my new camera. Now I just have to figure out how to beat him again!! haha
Please stop by when ever you can and let me know what you think about my progress. Smack at you soon, Susana

Hi Peter
Thank you for your visit and your lovely comments about the children; we are the lucky ones, Peter, they are terrific kids and a real credit to their parents. It is two years this week since we lost Lindsay, but she is never far away when we have them. Andrew is so like her. We have the children overnight tonight, as Gary is on a golf outing, he so deserves the break. They are in bed now, bathed/showered, fed and have had their stories, all ready for school tomorrow.
We have them often, and it is always wonderful.
It is not Mother's Day over here, but it is a nice day anyhow.
Regards to all
Slainte

Lol! Peter!

We're landing in Sydney 10th August then after recuperating for a couple of days flying up to Brisbane. We're picking up a car & taking a leisurely 2-week drive up to Cairns... that's the theory anyway! Whereabouts are you - is Bathurst anywhere near the coast?

========

Hi Glyn,

Bathurst is three hours inland from Sydney, but it's the dates that might beat us. The 10th of August is my brothers birthday, and I think we might be doing something then. When do you fly out?

Hi Peter
Just popped in to say hello. Glad your boys weren't in the car. We have had a good lambing with a month of fine weather, fairly helps them along and they are now all out in the village munching away.

Oh... and remember... HDR does not eliminate poop in the pants! hahahahahaha

Gidday Mate... thanks for the interaction with the HDR stuff.... I've left you some thoughts in both my experiment and in the forum.... I think you got a good start going... looks like you understand the sequence of the shots... now it is just playing with the program to get your desired results.... it may drive you crazy at first... but heck, it's not like you have to pay for the time you use the program...

BTW, which program are you using??? I'll be gone for a few days and don't know if I'll have Internet access...but hit me up if you need some more help!

G'day Peter. Thanks for the congrats. You really should have been up there. Loved the heron, the colours in the shot were great. Been perusing your astronomy shots tonight and wondering what camera you use? Have a great weekend mate...stay cool. Jo x
