Good Morning, Peter (at least it is here) Happy Birthday and many more of them!!!! Another 365 dinners, enjoy them all. Have a great day!!!! Slainte Myra
Roland was a fine Fotki Friend. We were the same age. I always enjoyed his posts and quirky translations. Roland would like to inform me whenever I was on the front page of Fotki... and I would of him... It was fun, enjoyable, and he will be missed...
Thank you Manfred for informing me of this... My Thoughts go out for his Family and Friends...

Damn,
Another good guy gone.
I also enjoyed Roland's unique personality and postings, but especially his big heart and desire for friendship across language and culture barriers.
Thanks for letting me know, I knew he was pretty crook, but I didn't realise it was that serious.
Peter thank you so much for your comment. We sometimes forget about the little ones who go home too soon. I have taken many a photo of these little ones. Sometime It is a honor to be with them not only when there life is so short but to help the parents and family come to terms with the death. I have attended many of the wakes and the photos show eveyone who that child was. Most of all he or she was here and loved. Its a comfort to me to share this little one with all. She was born too early at 19 weeks yet she was so so so so beautiful. Every little detail on her was complete. My friend wanted to share her photo to let the world know she was here and loved. We only picked one with her feet and the words for the world to think. I guess I did that. God Bless Sandy

Hi Sandy,
Thanks for getting back to me. I wasn't aware of this ministry, but I can see it fulfills a real need. One lady in our church had several miscarriages and then lost her beautiful baby girl at almost 12 months of age from SIDS. Helping her through that was difficult, but the funeral was a very moving & positive experience for people who have faith. Children's funerals are always the hardest so anything we can do to help is a boon, so God bless you mate.
The trouble with any of the forums except perhaps the Critique Me forum is getting people to have a look & contribute. This has been the case right from the start. If you look at the stats, the Critique Me forum is by far the most frequented, followed by daylight. Perhaps the best way is to just ask a bunch of people to contribute & post a link with your request.
Hi Peter Just had a wee look at your last album, some lovely stuff there, and I love the names. You can't laugh at our Scots names now, can you? Did you go camping, or were you just passing through? Slainte Myra
I am doing good, why thank you Mr. Smelly Pants!! I got a few autumn shots that might just kick your booty next week!! I didn't have a chance to get in this weekly cuz my hubby was sick, and I was wiping his snotty nose, and cooking him chicken soup, LOL!! Anyhoo I am going to go check out what my buddys have entered this week, I wonder who is in the lead? C YA!!
I've just been browsing through your pics for the first time .. they're wonderful and so varied. Looks like I've got a lot more of Australia yet to explore on here.
Cheers Vanessa (also from NSW, a little way north of you)
... waiting for the bus ... an objected movement versus a silhouetted stop
no, no they do not wait, they sit and let time pass and the bus shall come ...
... despite the generally drained glossy color world which does not allow any omissions any more, this entry found its proponents like you ... I like to thank you for your evaluative thoughts
