You're welcome, I saw a great TV show today on Monty Halls' Great Escape, this cool dude who wanted to explore the west coast of Scotland from the base of a small cottage. After many years of waiting, this was filmed in one of the most beautiful of all the stretches of coastline in the region, Sand Bay, Applecross.
I missed the first half hour and I'm hoping it'll be a series, it was just fantastic, all about crofts and crofting, i thought of you & Irene straight away.
Glad you enjoyed it, Peter, I think I have seen that series. There are so many beautiful areas, and this is certainly one of them. I am a city girl though, who likes going walking in the country. Irene, Bob and I were all born in the city, although Irene has adapted well to life on a croft in her retirement.
"Has your cat lost an eye?" Search me. That's the way he was when we got him from the shelter. lol All I know is that he wants nothing to do with the outside world past the edge of the balcony. Must have been a traumatic experience. Seems to have lost his voice for the most part somewhere along the line too.
