Thanks Myra, me too. I've met a lot of good friends through the contests, whatever their shortcomings may be, & people get so upset over them, but they serve a useful purpose. With regards friendship the feeling is mutual mate, you're one of my oldest & dearest fotki mates, & I just hope we finally make it to Scotland one day to lob on your doorstep & sus out this haggis stuff !! ..........

Hey Peter, Just wanted to stop by and let you know I added a few car related albums yesterday. I think I have about 7 car related albums in my 2009 folder. Went to this years Formula Drift again this weekend, thanks to Scion. They allow about 200 Scion owners and 1 guest each, to attend the Drift event for free and also hold a car show , giveaway and feed them lunch. Its great fun.

I offered my help, and I will help anyone here who has similar problem, free of charge. I know how how does it feel losing the files. A friend of mine (thought) that all what he had on the disk was lost. I was able to recover it completely. You can not imagine how happy he was.

I've never had a total disaster but did lose some files many years ago after a virus crashed my system. I've been much more vigilant ever since. I just bought another 1 TB external drive to use as backup a couple of weeks ago.
Just the thought of losing files gives me the willies so I can imagie how relieved your friend was.

Unfotunately, rugby isn't regular programming here. ESPN will air a match once in a great while, otherwise you need to pay to watch. During one of the USA/Canada qualifiers this year they actually switched stations, because some stupid NFL quarterback got shot by his girlfriend. Not sure what the fuss was about, and his wife didn't complain.
Hey mate, Good win for the Boks. I've got to believe now that this is a class side. As for the cricket, I'm afraid there was no dilemma there, I switched from rugger at half time only ! Oz are giving the poms a lesson this time, which bodes well for a cliff-hanger at The Oval in the 5th ! 74 for 4 and Johnson coming to light ! The commentator recons it's the haircut that did it ! whatever, he is fearsome when in full flight !
