Thanks Lynne, I'm gutted that Robert didn't drop in to congratulate me, after that glowing compliment he gave me !! I think he really likes me you know !!
Congrats on 1st place in the DA, and congrats on last in the weekly, LOL!! 78th, wow what an improvement, haha!! I couldn't think of a good funny title for my DA, lost my damm funny bone, LOL!! Oh and btw my weekly was 18th, not 47th, you really need to get those glasses fixed bro!! Now lets see if I can find anything for the weekly, something that is NOT a damm barn, LOL!! :P
Web design is keeping me off the streets, at least. I'm kind of stuck for new ideas that don't require me to come up with a lot of content. It would be better to have a client with content, but that doesn't look like it's going to happen.
So, based on past name captions, it sounded like the Aussies were on the verge of defeat, and now they have turned that around? Is that right? Well done, Mate!

PS: What does the vile little dog have to do with Disney?
G'd day bro......thanks for visit and the comments. I have replied. I slept late this morning (06:30)....that's a couple of hours later than I usually stay in the sack. My kuester was dragging as I spent over 72 hours this weekend at the track lugging my camera stuff up and down all those hills. I walked many miles and I was tired. My shoulders are even sore from those camera straps. Now I have a couple thou images to sort through to today. No rest for the wicked. I met Bobby Rahal and Gil de Ferran this weekend. Got photos of both as well as Bobby and his granddaughter. It will take me a while to get through all the stuff I have and get it posted. Keep your eyes open.
Peter, We will only be able to be at the race on race day, it would be nice to attend on Fri/Sat but our holiday schedules will not permit this....but as a "DownForce" Fan Club members in good standing, we do get many perks that others do not...... one of the highlights has been standing on pit road, shoulder to shoulder, with the likes of Johnny Rutherford, Chip Ganassi, Dan Weldon, and Aussie: Scott Dixon all at one time!! I hope you have a wonderful time at the races....I will be looking forward too your photos also..... Thomas
A little birdie tells me that you took 1st Place in a Fotki Photo Contest - well done mate :) I don't ever look at them so I didn't see it, but good-on-ya for the win.
Can you interpret your name caption in American for me please?
I thought of you yesterday because I went to an old car show. It was for a convention with a tiki theme, so the cars were mostly buggies, hot rods, and woodys. Here's a link to a back-door to my photos that doesn't need a password:
HA!!! I've been bombing in the digi comps, thats cos I'm using ancient one's from about a year ago. But the animals and children one doesnt count, photo's taken with love are lucky, you know that ;)
as for the disasterous electricals..a good friend of mine gave me her old laptop which only happened to be 6 months old. And another let me "borrow" his version of photoshop. So I'm back up and running. I've been borrowing the boyfriends to enter comps, it's been crap.
I'm still busy doing other stuff but I've had photoshop for a full day now and I'm happy happy happy :) Hope you're well mate. Love to all the family. Jo xxx

That's great news about the laptop & photoshop (both pricey items), friends are a blessing aren't they?! You were due a good break I reckon.
As for your watery doggie entry not counting, that's bollocks, it's a great entry, & your photographers eye that took the photo & then chose that particular entry from your archive to use, so once again, well done you bandicoot !!
Thank you for visiting. The sunrise image of the San Diego skyline was taken from the deck of the USS Nimitz, an aircraft carrier. My son was stationed on it and we were attending a Family Day which included a VERY early boarding and then short cruise off of the San Diego coast. It was fun. This is one of my very early shots using a Sony point and shoot.
Thanks for the word about my comments on what amounts to abandoned critique pages. I had no idea how it worked. So which ones are the most recent postings, pages 1 and 2, or what?
=======
Hi John,
Look at the date of the first post in the particular critique & just comment on the most recent ones (the last month or so). The last post won't tell you because if someone makes a recent post on a 2 year old critique, then it will look like a new post. Unfortunately we have had some wallies deliberately dredging old critiques up, so that the new critiques that current fotkins are asking for help on keep getting pushed down the list, making it harder for them to find them again.
The Critique Me forum was added by fotki after requests by fotkins, & has proved quite popular and helpful, but the dredging up of old entries was getting to be a real pain.
Just stopping by to pat your back and tell you well done! I really like this weeks DA "contest" entry.... I NEVER tire of these types of images and you do a great job with your edits.....so a big old slap on the back to you..... and thank you for YOUR recent comments..... you are very kind...................... Thomas
