Hi Peter... yeah, sad little bird...it tried to rescue the baby and died while the baby survived. It flew very hard at my window.... Anyway...it happens every now and then since we have so many birds in the garden...cannot be helped. I already have large stickers everywhere to make them see that there are windows but not all of them understand. Hey bro......thanks for the visit and kind comments. I have responded. It's 20:00 Hrs or so, Friday evening in the Glen and I just returned from another track meet. Weather started out cold and rainy, then it cleared a bit, then the sun came out and a warm front passed, then the humidity rose, the wind picked up and now there's a tornado alert and severe thunderstorm warnings for the next few hours. Weather is seldom boring in Wisconsin. Must be near noon Saturday down your way......have a great weekend. I have 200 or so track photos to sort through for the paper tomorrow morning. Better get at it.

Thanks for telling me about the pic. We found it when we were driving around the real countryside. I must be a remain from long time ago but it was sooooo charming and unreal. When it was in use they chained goats to/on/by the roof to hold the grass down and to get fed. I don´t know if its saved as a memory of old times or if someone use it as a summerhouse.
