Hi Peter,
nice to have you stop by with more cool info! Thanks! Hahahaha it dose not really bother me that the virtual gift tags are showing up. But I guess it would be nice to have the option to turn them.

Bragg all yo like babes - but be clear i dont rate the 20/20cricketball 0r th 50 overs day game (the way it is scheduled) nearly as powerfully as the "test" - every ball bowled , every ball batted , every baetcetcetcetc
Which in an internet virtual instant age is really a test test test - there is a new book out called the "A" generation - by the same auther as the "X" generation
.......your pastor (XTIAN) must be encouraged to read it
God bless my dear brother (By grace - that underserved favour)

I totally agree mate, that's why it's so galling to be beaten by the barmy army after dominating you for so long !!

yes, the ones on my avatar are gone but the comments on my page still have them? I guess that is beacuse these members still have the gifts? oh well...you have to pay for them now so they won't last for long. It is unbelievable...they charge a dollar for them! Feed the poor is a better way of spending money eh?
Some can live a day for 1 dollar! What is wrong with leaving a nice message in a guestbook? it takes time and the gift is fast? oh well....
Have a great day Peter!!!

Yes, the cartoon characters as Mona calls them, will stay one everyone's avatar who doesn't do what we have done to get rid of them. I also prefer normal guest book messages. I sent a couple of virtual gifts just to have a go & see what they were, but normal communication is better for me. In fact I like the normal GB messaging better than Instant messaging and all that other stuff because you don't have the pressure of someone saying "answer me NOW", you know what I mean? And a dollar for that little cartoon to do what you can do for free in your GB is just silly, I can't believe people still pay for it. Some people feel bad deleting them because someone paid for them, but you pay much more for a card or flowers & they get thrown out pretty quickly. Anyway I created an album with screenshots of just mainly one per person who sent them just to cover that off.

Hi Peterooooooo! See your mssgs on my Fotki site. Thanks..Re the low wing plane. I believe they mainly use it for keeping an eye, from the air ,on the (water) bore drains to ensure all areas of the large, usually dry sheep station are getting water. Also good to watch the wind mills and 'turkey nest' tank/dams are under control. Muster time, the plane with radio, makes it quicker and more effective. As you no doubt realize, getting staff out in these outback areas is a problem so the huge stations are run with vehicles, machinery and dogs doing much of the work. Often, the children are sent away to boarding colleges with only a hand full coming back to work on the 'farm'. Some day the tide will turn and most city dwellers and politicians will find out the hard way,the rural folk contribute much more to their well being than they could ever realize. Now to step down from my 'soap box'. (Why did spruikers use soap boxes anyway. Guess kerosene tins would just crush;-)

OUCH !

That joke is rather harsh, but painfully true I suppose !

Never mind, we and the Poms each gave you one back !

Thanks mate, we'll take everything we can get !!
