Hi Peter. I have looked at the photos but there are none that I recognise in the north east of England. I know the south of England as well as you do! I have a friend who lives down there and will ask her to take a look when she can and will let you know. It may take some time! Best wishes, John!
Pete - I got as far as number 47 before I looked - then realised there were 480 of them, so I stopped doing obvious repeats and just selected changes that i could identify. Done as many as I could identify - not familiar with anything in Scotland, never been there. It's almost as far away as Oz !!
Thank you Peter. I am not sure what happened but a lot of the images dropped dramatically in rank. I was disappointed to see some quality work finish so low. I don't expect to win/place/or show in every contest, but when other great work finishes so poorly ya gotta wonder if something isnt up.
There is always next time right? Thank you again!

Yes, many of the old hands like myself don't worry so much about placings anymore because of that, & just enjoy the comments & interaction, I'm enjoying your entries, they're always very interesting.
Hi Peter Have identified as much as I can....... there are some buildings etc. which might be where they stayed, and I don't know them, but I have the major places they visited. I really hope they enjoyed it, they certainly picked a good tour. And the weather at least some of the time was sunny. Glad to have been of help....... one day perhaps it will be your turn.
Have not yet looked at the English pictures, but will look tonight and perhaps may be able to identify some of them. Slainte Myra
Whether “I almost get dizzy looking at this!” or “I would hate to walk through here after have a few too many brews” or “... modern architects could never design this” or all the others … by all means I enjoyed reading and answering all your comments on my “… out of plumb …” entry for the latest Weekly.
