there is NO fun after labor day.... Fotki.... you do NOT serve your premium members well.... maybe if you communicated with us rather than hide behind your west coast walls with your head in the sand!!! WAKE UP! before all your Premium members leave for other, more caring photo share sites!!!

Hi mate,
I've been on fotki since 2004 & seen many changes, some for the good, some definitely not, but I love the album layout for the photos, & the layout for comments & gb entries. I've found it easy to follow and make new friends here, so tend to put up with some of the annoying things that happen. I've lost lots of good friends on here, I hope we don't lose you too.
Dear Peter. As everyone knows the comment section of the contests are inoperative...is this a glitch or is it being done on purpose? shades of censorship! I believe the fotki gods are mad at us....it is very strange.....they have not even addressed the problem..what a bunch of west coast cowards they are...I do not think I will stay a premium member after my year expires... I most likely move to Flicker or some other site where they communicate with their premium members and cater to them....enough of this for now...
I like your entry in the POTW ..I love tractors and working the soil....very nice Peter... the farmers here are harvesting the summer crops now and will soon turn the soil for winter... Good Luck! Thomas

Hi Thomas,
No I don't think it's censorship, I think it's a glitch, it has happened several times, including one that I won so it would have been nice to have comments operating in it for that one, but the whole contest went by without them fixing it. Normally these glitches only last a few hours or a day so hopefully we'll be back on deck soon. Thanks for your comment, I used to work on farms and loved ploughing especially.
Hi my dear Peter! As Fotki does not allow us to comment under the photos (heck what do they think!! Iam quite angry!!) I have to do it like that! I just love your picture so much, Peter! It is the same topic as Michelle's isn't it funny..:)))))...I was writing in her GB that now we can see that summer has ended for sure! Love your photo a lot, my dear friend ...it is very active your scene. Love and hugs Trixi:)
Holy Macaroni, I can't believe we entered the same photo, too funny!! Too bad you didn't get the clouds in yours, then maybe you would be riding your wittle tractor up next to mine, LOL!!:P
Love your entry in the photo of the week contest,I was going to comment and it said that my cookies has been disabled or has exspired? so I have to comment like this hehehe, can't keep me quite hehehehe. Some great fields to farm, nice entry and good luck to you
Hi Peter. I have looked at the photos but there are none that I recognise in the north east of England. I know the south of England as well as you do! I have a friend who lives down there and will ask her to take a look when she can and will let you know. It may take some time! Best wishes, John!
Pete - I got as far as number 47 before I looked - then realised there were 480 of them, so I stopped doing obvious repeats and just selected changes that i could identify. Done as many as I could identify - not familiar with anything in Scotland, never been there. It's almost as far away as Oz !!
Thank you Peter. I am not sure what happened but a lot of the images dropped dramatically in rank. I was disappointed to see some quality work finish so low. I don't expect to win/place/or show in every contest, but when other great work finishes so poorly ya gotta wonder if something isnt up.
There is always next time right? Thank you again!

Yes, many of the old hands like myself don't worry so much about placings anymore because of that, & just enjoy the comments & interaction, I'm enjoying your entries, they're always very interesting.
Hi Peter Have identified as much as I can....... there are some buildings etc. which might be where they stayed, and I don't know them, but I have the major places they visited. I really hope they enjoyed it, they certainly picked a good tour. And the weather at least some of the time was sunny. Glad to have been of help....... one day perhaps it will be your turn.
Have not yet looked at the English pictures, but will look tonight and perhaps may be able to identify some of them. Slainte Myra
