So another question? If I save that watermark to a PSD file it will not open in photoshop or on the servers.......I have done this by mistake a few times and it only showed as a PSD file and would not open up? perhaps it will if the complete file is saved this way......I will have to give it a try.......... Thanks for your help on this one...... I also hope to have some of the model shots up this week........ The modeling agency owner says he gets about 11,000 hits per day on his site....... They are planning to put all the photographers they shoot with up on the site very soon..........More exposure is good.
Hello my name is Ralph and I'm in the Atlanta area.
First let me say I love your photos and can't believe the quaility you are getting. I would like to request some input from you if you do not mind?
I purchased a Nikon-D300 body along with an SB-800 Flash, Nikor 18-200 mm/DX/VX lens and a Tamoron 200-500 mm lens.
I am not getting very good quaility on the color portions of the images for example I was shoting a red-tail hawk but his color did not look the same as it did in real life and I am getting fuzziness in shots that look great in the viewfinder but don't when viewed in Nikon Viewer-NX.
I see that you scan your old photos as well. I am currently doing all my old albums all the way back to when my parents got engaged! Sort of like a photo chronology of me and my family!
I've been lobbying Fotki management for 2 yrs now ... and it seems they FINALLY will be allowing a contest which distinguishes talented artists and can include artistic nudes. It's called the "Blue Ribbon" contest, and they are using my name liberally in all the announcements.
The bottom line is that I wanted to distinguish between artists, such as yourself, versus snapshot shutterbugs. I am trying to establish this contest as being more than just body-art and nudes ... I want it to be accepted as more of a "distinguished artists of fotki" which also is liberal with it's acceptance of artistic nudity.
I have cited your name in the blog as one of the "master artists" of fotki, and I hope you'll participate in this contest with some of your incredible work.
I loved the silhouette shots in your Britt-Norma album!!

Thanks, I"ll go to layers and try the text layering. Something new for me to learn in Photoshop and I am guessing it should be simple to do..........Am also checking into buying Lightroom to make Wedding images easier to sort.......Have CS3 and have been using Bridge but everyone raves about how much better Lightroom is to use.
Shooting film was always so much easier than digital. You put filters on the lens and shoot, you create double exps in the camera and you had fun with your B&G or Model.......Of course not to much double exps. when it comes to shooting models.
Guess I had better enter more photo contest like you have begun doing. One never knows when the right image will catch the judges eye and you will be rewarded.

Very nice work on Model Mayhem........Great credits on your work also.....And as we always say, times change and it only gets better from here..... standard is iamover18......... I know this must be very simple but I was wondering how you lay LARA images in your images.......I need to be doing this on my images but just something I have not done yet.???? Is it in layering?
You should post some of your model work on Model Mayhem.com. You may be surprised with some of the interested model calls you pick up in your local area! Just a suggestion. I am finishing up with images from a local radio station of "On Air" personalities that I shot and also a Wedding from a week ago. Just set up an account at Pictage but still like Digilabs better so far. Trying also to get my webpage up and set in stone and running......Going around to several pet stores in the local area and pass out $25.00 of pet portraits and also going to hair and beauty saloons to pass out cards also......My plan is to pass out 5X7 cards with 3 images on them and studio name and information........ I am looking at the Canon 40D now and have had my 10D for 3plus years of great shooting........
I would love to hear your comments on this new album titled Kristi. I only have it open to my Fotki friends. I have been doing a lot of practicing and reading trying to improve my work. Comments and/or helpful critiques welcome.
I enjoyed looking through your work. Very nice. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you again for comments, especially the vignetting critique. =) It is a new effect that I'm playing with so thank you! I'll try it next time with a layer mask. Take care!
