"Fell over while carrying a big jar of Gaussian blur, huh? ;)"
i'm afraid it was a pot of Edge Preserving Smooth! I was attemting to get the look of one of my favourite artists/musicians Fred Deakin's work. I kind of failed, but still i liked the effect.
Hi, thank you very much for your comments re: my pictures. I started my album purely to link pictures to my Dead Journal (hence Random Bunk contains lots of PSP'd pictures etc!) then i discovered just how much i love photography. Having a talented photographer as yourself tell me i have a 'good eye' is most encouraging. Thanks again, Steve.
Hey, I appreciate your comments on my photos. You've got some great ones yourself. To answer your question, my friend was shooting a short film when we were students, but unfortunately the money didn't last and he never finished it. At least I got some great behind the scenes pics! the pictures from my On Set album are a mixture of many different shoots. Looks like you're working in media yourself, or at least post production?
Hey thanks for your comment. The only thing that turned me off of the kodak was the fact that you couldn't attach filters and lenses and that was a big enough deal for me to go with fuji plus I have had luck with fuji in the past
**-**- Yeah, I'm bummed I can't at LEAST attach a UV filter to protect my optics.
The glowing look you asked about was one of the effects in Microsoft Picture It Photo called "Glow - Diffused." Most comparable programs will probably have something similar.
