Hey Paul...I see why you thought that...I must go and edit it so it shows San Antonio...

I would love to go out shooting with you.

I am probably going to los maples sometime over this weekend. it is suppose to be warm and muggy..oh boy...I wish the cold would come back...anyway, the trees should be spectacular right now, full of vibrant, bright beautiful color. What are you doing this weekend? I cant wait to see it. I have never been. In the spring I want to go back up somewhere close to there. I understand there is a flower farm up there somewhere...cant wait for that...that would be ultimately the best for me since I am terribly flower crazy.

I want to get up enough nerve to go to the top of the tower of americas to take photos...and yes, I know it's the proper name, but I like Hemisphere towers and actually its the restaurant which is called Tower of America's...anyway, maybe one day I will go up...I know it's silly...I have and had no problem going up to the 102nd floor of the empire state bldg...somehow it's different and I feel safe...
Hugs,

Kelli

I would like to come back again soon and take a look at some of your photos. Thanks for stopping by my christmas albums.

Paul -
Hey, thanks for stopping by and leaving your kind comments. I really appreciate it, as always, but I particularly mused at your comments on my studio build. I'm shooting a series on all my lights (I have a few more than are visible in the existing shots) to add to the album.

If you're ever near Daytona, I expect you to stop by and hang out for an afternoon.

Cheers -

I really liked a lot of your shots.....Just keep shooting and try new things all the time....Best way to learn.......Very nice looking subject as well....Always makes shooting easier.....I think changing wardrobe and experimenting with different makeup and looks is also a lot of fun......
Happy shooting and keep up the good work......

Later,
Kenton

Great Portraits Lara. I will definitely be coming back every so often to check out what's new and for inspiration for my portraits. Now just have to find great looking subjects that do not think I'm feeding them some kind of line that I just want to take their picture.

Out of curiosity are you using a reflector for some of the outdoor shots?

Hi, thanks for looking at my waterfall. I have noted your comment and put up another additional shot that is brighter. I am new to this sort of shot and I thought maybe there would be too much loss of detail on that one. So thanks once again, have a great weekend, Pete.

I just got back from hiking in Fussen, Germany, which is at the foot of the Alps. My friend Tim and I hiked from Neuschwanstein Castle over to a neighboring mountain. We ended up hiking up 800 meters (.5 miles) and over 800 meters, to a final altitude of 1,800 meters! The air is really thin at that height and the snow was pretty deep. Check out my album in the "Germany" folder labeled "Neuschwanstein Trip". http://public.fotki.com/bm14582/travels/germany-1/neuschwanstein-trip/

Glad you liked that texture idea, too. I think it turned out pretty cool!
