Since you had been so nice showing concern for us, here is a bit of an update.
Earl has finished three rounds of weekly chemo. After surgery, his tumor marker count had dropped to 5 even before chemo started. It started out at 572. Dropped to 309 at the end of May, after the blocked bile was drained in early April. This gives us much hope.
He is not having any problems tolerating the chemo. Just not gaining back any of the 50 lbs. he has lost. His white count, after two treatments, still over 5000, which Dr. says is normal. Dr. seemed surprised the count had not dropped.
For now, plan is for three months of chemo. Three weekly treatments, skip fourth week each month. May do radiation after chemo completed. Depends on counts and scans after the three months of treatments.
Overall, guess Earl is doing well, considering what he is going thru.
Hello Nigel & Catherine, Thank you for taking the time to leave your kind words of encouragement. We are, indeed, in for a rough year. My husband will be released from the hospital tomorrow. He has done very well and is getting out in record time. He will face chemo and radiation when we return to Tennessee in about ten days. Now that his tumor has been removed, we have some hope of his survival.
I enjoyed your pics of Rosie. I, too, had a very small mouse who lived on my dresser top (before hubby came along). Also had a guinea pig. I'll check back to look at your other albums as I have time.

Hello Nigel, did you get the size sorted out on your photo's. Andy gave you the details, better than me, and it work for me when I first joined Fotki.
Will you please let me know, then I can tell Andy.
Hi Nigel, hope you are well......Ray has asked me if I can help you with your photo size, I shall do my best! I might be telling you things you've already tried, if I am I apologize. Click on the Fotki icon top left....go to my account, then go to albums, on right of screen. Click on change, then change photo view size to 800 x 800. If this doesn't work, it may be that you need a higher resolution for your pictures, you may be able to change the settings on your camera for future pictures. If you already tried this I am at a loss!! Sincerely, Andy. PS welcome to Fotki, I will add you to my friends list and visit you soon.
