it was a combo of two things, I typically cut my hair rather than trimming and when I got my hair colored I was dissatisfied with the turnout so I requested that the salon try once again to achieve the color I wanted. Well it dawned on me just now (literally a week ago) that two applications of chemicals were applied to my hair twice within a two week period and my hair has been colored since Jan '08. So now I'm asking myself why didn't the stylist inform me that two permanent color treatments within that short amount of time would kill my hair? Although I knew this, I didn't think of it at that time and its taken a year for me to figure out why I had so much hair loss. So I'm doing my best to keep what I have at the moment. I've considered just cutting the color off and pretty much starting over. We will see about that!
