I cannot understand why people go on and on about this. I know being on the first page helps! but as you said...not enough to win!
Have a look and most of the times (ok, not always but rare!) the best pictures win!
I am getting a bit sick of this...Israël is at war, many people are dying and what are we discussing here on fotki???? yuk!This is not the place to discuss who is right or wrong there...no way, but hey this fotki minor issue is an insult on my intellect and to all those people suffering right now!
I know I did well last time but my pic was in focus...LOL...it is for fun, that is how I see it!

Thanks for the vote in the Guess What It Is contest. You did not leave a comment or guess, so I'll tell you about it. It's a tropical fruit called Rambutan common in the Philippines. It is closely related to Lychee. The leathery skin is red (rarely orange or yellow), and covered with fleshy pliable spines. The fruit flesh is translucent, whitish or very pale pink, with a sweet, mildly acidic flavor. It smells good and tastes delicious. Thanks again.
