Hello, first off I want to say thanks for sharing your hair journey with us on here. I am pretty new to this and am currently transitioned from relaxed to natural. One thing I must say is patience is key!!!! Anywho, I dont want to talk you to death, I was wondering if I could get your password to view your journey album!?
Hello there. I don't know you, but noticed that you had added me as a friend. I would love to take a look at your hair album. May I have the password, please? Also, you may be interested in knowing that I have unlocked a dozen hair albums of my own and made them public again ;) Hope to get that password soon... *smile* Take care
Thanks for your pw!!!!! I absolutely love your hair!!! what products d you use to get such great defintion with your twist outs? Have you figured out what to do about single strand knots/prevention? I have a few, and I don't want to cut them :(, what if they just come back!!! I don't have any splits or bent ends! any suggestions!?
============================================== Thanks for the compliments! I have given up the battle against the single-strand knots....well, almost...
I do find myself grabbing the scissors and cutting them one by one! Obsessive I know...
For the most part, they do come back, it's just the nature of coily hair. No one ever notices them from afar so it's not like we'll be called out about it. --I try to find some peace in that :)
I do try to trim my ends at least twice a year (I'm lazy--I used to aim for once every three months). I've been using these jheri curl rods at the ends of my twists to stretch the curl a bit and reduce the chance of them winding so much around each other.
I've been using Aussie Moist conditioner/poo and Just For Me Leave in Detangling Conditioning Spray.... along with NOW almond oil.
The Just For Me leave in is my holy grail product, but I'm sad to say I'm going to have to give it up because I'm trying to become vegan and it has collagen from pigs in it. :-( I'm trying to use more natural/animal friendly products. But if you don't mind the swine, then you'll love the Just For Me spray....it smells yummy, provides perfect slippage and definition, moisture and dries quickly.
If you try it and like it or find something else, let me know! ttfn! ::sm::
Hey sis! I always enjoy "your visits" to check in on me. I have forgotten the pw's to the site, and I need to get in there b/c you inspire me! I hope all is well, and life is treating you splendidly!
hi Mecca, I saw you getting accolades on Simnicity's Hall of Fame. I would love your pw if you don't mind. From what I can see your hair is lovely. Thanks, A
