Mrs.Raines! You are my hair "shero"! Your "Hair Journey" video was most inspiring. I cut my hair last year for the first time. I've had long hair all my life and wanted to try out a short style - didn't like it. Anyway, I'm growing it back now. I recently started going to a Dominican hair salon and I LOVE it!!!. Your videos give me hope.

Your hair is beautiful. I am so inspired especially since I am now starting my journey. Growing up I never thought that long hair was possible for us. Now I realise that our hair can grow long, we just need to have a routine that focuses on its special needs.

Thanks for sharing your haircare tips and products. Your website is great. I have been growing my hair out and going w/o a relaxer for over a year. I have frizzy curly hair (at times I can tame the frizz.). However, I have not been able to find a product that works on the frizz all the time, including when i straighten my hair.

Yes girl she went to our salon and she loves it! She is convinced that she needs a relaxer but I told her the Dominicans will whip that up in shape. I am also in love with Ateyaaa's vids. She is so cool and she gives great make-up/hair/tutorials. I also saw a girl who did her own tracks like Ateyaa and I saw how she
did her mascara and that method works like a charm. I haven't purchased a primer because I read and saw that some people use regular foundation instead. I used that and it worked perfectly. The color stayed vibrant all day. I have gotten everyone on board with this hair thing but everyone still thinks I am nuts when I pull out my camera and start snapping away.
Btw, check out earrings at your local BSS. I get mine for .99 and I love them! I just bought 4 sets of colored metal type earrings for only $11.00 at DOTS. I am getting ready for winter. I want to wear my cute hats and stylish earrings. Thanks for the love!
