Hey Mrembo, thanks for stopping in! As far as trimming, I just go section by section finger detangling, use a denman brush on the last inch or so of my hair to stretch the coils and make sure the ends are even, then I trim straight across with shears. When I finish large sections I just twirl them up and secure them (to get them out of the way) until I'm ready to style. Another way I have heard of is trimming in a protective style like twists or box braids b/c you can gage the overall evenness and it goes faster. hth. -Copa
