    yeah i got that date wrong i was in the 7th grade
    and went to carlton jr high if i remember right
    the doors wore open but school buses did not go. the year that i we had to make up snow days was when i was a sophmore. back in the 60s there was know no snow days for make up.
    so they either had no busess running but had
    the doors open so those that walk went to school. cases i grauated in 1967. it is hard to keep up with the yrs.
    linda i finely got out long enough to go and get some meds i need they are even waiting for dilver of some of there meds. it was snow so had and wind blowing i could not hardy see the road. so i did not take a chance to go and check on my mom as the snow started again a little later after i got home from the kmart. then it showed again  early monday morning i had a report from my weather on my cell phohe letting me know there could be more todayl
    i finely after two tires got my car cleaned off but i am really hurting bad now. we are still under winter watch for kanasa i have talked to the nurses each day and they said mom was doing good sofar

    have not been checking emails. been worried about mom and been so tried i just lay in bed when i get home. i have to sign everything for her n extra.things i have to do for her. i miss getting all the lovely tags but just do not have time. now i have to find out how to keep this site going how much i have to pay for it. with my going on medicare. and other things i have to pay wow everything is so high. we have had about 18" of snow since weds morning and suppose to get 2 to 6" more with sleet today.

    she will stay at the nusing home and be kept cometable,
    they have a special chair lift that they move her from the bed
    to the chair. i have the xray showing that he could get the ball
    in the spot it was suppose to be in but it will not stay as 
    the bone is almost gone where it is  to hold it in place. in case of you are
    wonder why it could not be done.

    my mom got moved to back to the nursing home yesterday monday 1-28-13
    sunday the 27 she told me she did not care she hurt so much it was like she gave up.
    but on monday(1-28-13 she had a lot better mind and was ready to go back
    to the nursing home. alot of hard work. they all missed her there
    and the nursing at the hopstial did not want her to leave i gave them the
    name and adress where she is.

    On Friday Jan 18-2013
    Update On My MOM 1-18-13
    my mom had to go back to the hospital tonight. 
    they took and xray and westview and the bolt in 
    her hip had moved and was going in wrong. 
    i just got back from the hosptial. not sure when 
    they will do sugr. good be in the morning. they took 
    another xray at the hospital and it looked like the hip 
    cracked. Not Sure If They Will Put In A Plate Or Hip Replacement.
    11-19-13
    Dr. Pool Said Mom Had Two Options Either Be
     In Bed All The Time
    Or Have Hip Replacement.
    Dr Pool And Said There Was One Of Two Things
    That Can Be Done.1-19-12. 
    He Will Be In The Morning 1-20-13 To Talk
    Talked It Over With Tom, 
    Holly And Nurse At WestView Manor. Going
    To Give It A Try As She Would 
    Not Wanted To Be In Bed All The Time
    They Are Doing A Lot Of Test To 
    See How Good Moms Lungs,Heart
    Blood To Besure She Can Have The Sugr. 
    It Will Ether Be Sunday 1-19-13And 
    Extra Aleast Before I Came Home To Rest 
    And Eat Mom Said
    She Wanted An Old Fashion Hamburger. 
    Mom Had Not Been Eatting  Much. 
    So I Ordered That For And The Nurse Said 
    She Would Help Mom Get It Ready To Eat When It
    Came Up To The Room I Also 
    Told The Nurse That Mom Loved A
    Good Piece Of Apple Pie, The Nurse 
    Also Said She Would Help Mom
    To Get Her Evening Meal Ordered.
    Or Monday 1-20-13 I Really Lost It 
    For Awhile My Mom Was Not Going
    To Say What To Do She Was Leaving 
    It Upto Me And My Brother.
    It Is Hard To Make A Decison Like That 
    For Someone Else.

      Aw I'm so very sry about your mom honey.  You've both been through much!
      Don't know how you stay so strong but guess I am as well after losing so many friends and family
      members over the past 20 years.  You hang in there ok?  How old is your Mom if you don't mind me asking?
      Will keep you both in my prayers.
      I've uploaded some new Linda tags ... if you have a minute perhaps take a peep
      and maybe it will bring some joy your way instead of worry.
