I just got around to finding the "contest entry comments". You were so kind to compliment my on my entry in May. Since I am almost as new as you to the site I guess I hadn't noticed all the features. Thanks again for your comments and I enjoyed checking out your photos too!

The photos are all of places in Auburn, NY. The river, that's the Owasco River, and the duck pics was at Owasco Lake. None of the ducks tried to bite Renate' or myself, but a few of them did try to make for mine and Renate's purse! LOL!

Thanks for stopping to take a closee look at my shots,the reason the Quail eggs are numbered is so that I can keep detailed progress reports on the embryos,and later,the chicks themselves................

Mickey, that multi colored flower you saw on my page is called a Lantana.
You can look it up in Google if you want to know more about them.
I wonder if they are suitable for container gardening.
