Michael, Thanks for sharing your pics. I got lost for hours viewing the ride pics on your site. Now excuse me because I have to jump on my Harley and ride. I'm looking forward to a return vist to your site.
Hi Bro, Nice album you have here !!! I did enjoyd all those nice rides ... and I hope to come over one time so we can have a ride together ! Have more nice and safe rides in the future ... Bikergreetz Chiefke
What a magic trip....those icy high hills snuggled up in that rustic log cabin while your bike freezes outside (guess you couldnt take it inside...I would have taken in my bike....lol). I can only just imagine riding in that weather with your hands and booted feet frozen numb on the pegs gasping the crisp air...so invigorating.
Then the glorious red colors of Arizona with their distinctive rock formations standing starkly against a clear cloudless blue sky. Long flat stretches with the road dwindling far away into the distant horizon... brilliant sunsets that would light up the panoramic vistas as the sun set on a perfect day. The coolness of the night against your sunburnt face, a comfortable tiredness creeping over your body knowing you had a long and enjoyable ride that day.
You walked the walk of the Hollywood elite...or at least "The Govenator". Called into the Harley Distributorship for a souvenir or two, with that fantastic metal sculpture out the front: a real contrast to the one of antlers (where of course no animal was harmed in the making there off.....).
Concerts with ZZ Tops no less..........now do they play as well as they did in the "good ol days" pray tell me. Loved them to death always will I guess...such soul stirring sounds that drove your mind to a frenzy and woke every cell in your body.... Wowwww o wow.........
A full pot of black coffee later and I have cruised through the whole trip with you. It reminds me of someone showing you their 'baby photos' ...grins....where if you did not have a baby as well they challenged you to stay focused through all the photos. Just as well I own a bike, love riding and want to see the great ol US of A. Thank you for sharing them...now I really want to get out and ride.
One question though...."How on earth are you going to settle down in one place again after that trip?" I must be somewhat challenging. Or are you already planning your next trip...........grins.......
