Thanks a lot for this, Micha! For a long time I thought I was alone in the world being attracted by girls with thick glasses - especially extremely strong plus power lenses - it's just beatiful!
If you want standard lenses, try getting a "cheap" pair of prescription sunglasses when you next get new specs - but you might have problems folding the arms so you can put them into a case.

For her new glasses Kirsty's gone up to RE-11.50 x -1.50 x 170 and LE -10.25 x -1.00 x120. She needs less for contacts with them being on her eye. The reason she got standard lenses in her glasses was because she only wears them when she's at home so my dad told her she would have to put up with the thickness. To be honest I think they look amazing with lots and lots of power rings and I kind of wish mine were standard lenses as well instead of high index. I see lenschat is still not available. What's happened to it do you know?
