PS... Guess what??? I will be driving up to see visit Susi and Peirce too this weekend... we will do some things in their areas... More later... gotta go pack!!! Gary
Thanks Scott, For the first time that was actually some decent results using a Canon DSLR. Tricky, since its all a guessing game in the viewfinder (Can't see squat) Lot of trial and tons of error..lol Nailing down the right settings in manual focus. No complaints...I love that medium and messing with it. If I get a useless photo, well I try again and again...
Ugh, I dropped my old 58MM Hoya IR on my old Sony..wasn't screwed on right. Fell off shattered. Funny and scary that the 5MP F707 was retailed over 1K in 2001.
Thank you again, Scott, for your comment at (Public Home > PLACE HOLDER > the PLACE HOLDER Alb… > kr3). Of course your critique or opinion is welcomed at any time!
I really enjoy your new avatar, btw.. tho I now wonder if things have changed re: the Science Center?
Take care, my Friend!
Dan
-------------------------------------------------- thanks Dan, the Science center is alive and well :) I just like the tornado pic I did last night and thought it worked well as an avatar......change is good every now and then lol ...Scott
Scott! It has been ages since I've heard from you, and your comment was such a day-brightener! Thanks so much for re-establishing a 'contact'! I'll be back shortly to see and say more!
Well, the bar on what is offensive in America, and especially Fotki just got too strange for logic! This photo was deemed too offensive for the Fotki "Red" contest and rejected! I don't know how they judge what is offensive!
Hey all you globetrotters, check this out and make one of your own. Mine's only a teeny one. Some fotkins like Gary will have massive ones - he's visited 22% of the planet!! If you don't mind, I'd like to make an album of snapshots of each of your travels as at August 2007. If you want to participate, follow the link here:
I enjoyed the visit and was surprised by some of your neat art. I didn't know you were involved in graphic art; and photography too. The only reason my last computer wasn't an Apple is they didn't have fluid cooling. Their architecture is far superior to Windows, and power efficiency is considerably better. And they have great video. Again, I had a very nice tour, and thank you. Have a nice week. k-
