I guess these guys have an inner circle that can'yt be broken. I would like to post some pictures of my models, but do not know how to do from my PC. I do not have any seperate web site. Can you help? Thanks a lot!! Gary.
hi mark, i found your sight by accident. havent seen you at any shows lately, so i thought i'd say hello. i'm still building cars and i managed to win best of show at columbus ind. this year with a 32 ford roadster. same car took best ford, and street rod at indy in october. lots of projects on the workbench for the winter, to get ready for cincy in april . hope you are doing well, drop me a line. your friend, Ed Powell.......
Nice work on the car. I am the owner of the Chevelle that you used pics from to build the model. You might be interested to know that on 9-21-11, both Bobby and Donnie Allison met my son, John (co-ownwer) at an auto museum in NC to inspect the car. It only took a few moments for them to recognize that the car is the photos is an authentic Bobby ASllison Racing race car built in their shop in Hueytown, Alabama. Also notice that the car is a 1968 but it has a 1969 front end on it. Also if you look at the B&W photo of Bobby's car back in the day,you will notice the the same configuration. You can see the 68 taillights and the grill has a bar running across it that identifies it as a 69. I am alos o amodeler of museum quality 1/32 scale WWII fighters and 1/24 Custom Diecast or Plastic i(f needed) race cars. I will be building a diecast of the car in the future but with the 69 front end on the 68 chassis. As far as colors, Donnie saisd the colors in the [pics are exactly right. Bobby has a custom blended gold that was not a standard available color on his race cars. Donnie said his cars were blue & gold but the gold was different that Bobby's.
Mark; I enjoyed your pics. Loved the Jr Hanley build. Spent many evenings at Mt Clemens race track watching Jr and Joy Fair (another of your pics) duel. Joy is a great gentleman and I am sure taught Jr alot. If you don't know about Joy, think of Michigans answer to Red Farmer.
Mark, my son and I bought the 1968 BA Chevelle earlier this year. The car is a beauty. I am also a model builder of vintage race cars. Thanks for your interest in our car. Email Me a picture when you finish the build. DT

Hi mark, Have a lot of photos I would like you to have and use to help all builders. I will burn a set for you.Email and let me know. Jerry www.donahue@aol.com Thanks for your time.
Hi Mark, You really build some fantastic models. Are you going to post the Camaro build folder? What do you use as a doner kit for the Camaros. Thanks Brian Anderson
Mark, where did you get the Ralph Brinkley decals? i built a Ralph Brinkley model and need decals... All the models look awesome... Lee E-mail me... Thanks!
I like the new photos added. I do though think the orange #65 ASA picture is actually Terry Shirley and not Bob Sensiba. Unless it was a one off ride for Bob that day as in 1979 and 80 he ran a maroon #12 after most of his career in the #48.
