Hi Ben....Thanks for stopping by. I did purchase the D3 and am very satisfied with it. It really is a phenominal tool......I'm sure you'd enjoy working with one. Now if only I had an f/4 600mm Nikkor to go with it, I'd be all set for bird photos. But that's a ways off........I'll get one right after I win the lotto.
