Your babies are just too cute :D . Sorry, but I couldn't help but say it. You're doing such a good job with their hair and I hope your own transition goes flawlessly. You'll be natural in no time!
Thank you! I'm trying. My real challenge right now is my curly girl 1. I'm still trying to find something to moisturize her hair the day after I wash it and beyond.
Congrats on your decision to transition. I am also transitioning out of my relaxer. I am almost one year post relaxer. Maybe we can encourage each other. I also have pics of my daughter who is natural on my page. Good luck.
Thanks...once I get the hang of doing it...=)=) Theirs is beautiful and I just hope to continue the growing process for their hair and putting it in cute styles with the right products
Hey Izzy! Thanks for asking. I do need to update for me and my children..
I'm getting tired of having this permed hair, but hubby wants me to easily chop it off so my own hair can grow longer and no length will be missed essentially. Sooooooo...I have about 3 or 4 in. by now and I was thinking of taking another pic after New Years. I think I could go for the BC now. I just want to be able to play in it and do stuff to it directly and not through the perm. So, I guess I'll be sportin' the curly roller set for a while...
hey there, girlie! thanks for the add and comment! good luck on your journey. i know transitioning is different for everyone, so i hope you're one of the lucky one's who thinks it's a breeze! i knew i wouldn't be able to do a long-term transition for a lot of different reasons. i unintentionally stretched a few times and it was TERRIBLE the first time! i lacked the know-how and patience. the second i handled a lot better with frequent cowashing, but i couldn't keep a style to save my life. and the third time was the best, but that was only because i stayed in a weave and then braids.
i knew i wouldn't be able to transition because once i get something in my head, i knew it would be hard to get it out! i got the idea to BC and i just didn't want to wait, i wanted to be natural NOW, so i went ahead and snip snip! it was the best decision i've ever made.
whew. sorry for the long comment, lol. but it's so nice to meet you. :) i'll be following your fotki and i wish you the best of luck!
Hey thank you for visiting and I appreciate what you said :) I went from hate to love of my BC decision in the space of 6 months, it was frustrating at times but you are in good company lol. Good luck to you in your transition!
