Gday

Thanks for the visit and comments - appreciated.

I am not sure whether you checked this link out. This is a picture of a painting of series of photos giving a 360degree view from tallest peak in Wilpena Pound. It gives a great idea of the countryside. If I had visitors I would highly recommend a viewing of the painting ( about 3 metres high on the walls of a tower about 15m in diameter) - it is magnificent. It is worth a trip in its own right.

The link was in my Hawker album.

Panorama Image (please check - worth a visit in its own right)

Hi Gypsy
Thanks for the visit and kind comments. I see you have been to Cape Point(where on this planet haven't you been ?) and have similar shots to mine. The day we went was on the spur of the moment, we live +- 20 Km away, and in all the many visits there, this is the first time there was NO WIND ! hence the lovely cloud formations. I will visit again when time permits.
Regards
Keith

Hope you recon the place.
The gazebo is NEW.
It wasn´t there last time I passed.
You were lucky to have so nice weather, we have had lots of wind and rain the passed week.

Hi

You will surely meet terrific colours in Småland.
Just hope the weather changes to something better than it is for the moment.
But even if not, the colours are still very beautiful and hopefully the leaves still
will be at the trees.
It´s a new upcoming storm-warning,,,at Sunday I think it was.

However I hope you´ll have a lovely time and that the rain stay out of Småland.
It´s wellcome to stay up here just you have a splendid visit.
If it does maybe the mushrooms comes back.
Wasn´t good for them with 3 weeks sunshine(they dislike).

Have a great day

G/day first thank you for your Albums I will come back and take a better look later...as for my skippy album it was taken a short drive from home, there was about 200 roos there that day,, at times you could see them sleeping so could get rather close to set the camera up, as us humans made a noise they would stand up and look around , but if you moved at this stage one would move then the mob would take off, no time to change shutter speeds or sports mode Thanks again Regards brhtwo

Hi Gypsy,
Thanks for your kind comment for this week, those clouds were amazing but looked almost artificial in colour, so the sepia worked well.
Regards,
Keith

Here´s a link to web-tv from Sjötorp this Summer.
If you find time to view it I think you´ll recon some places.
The first man talking is him with bike renting. He talks about that and the museum and its old engines.
Then it´s some boats, locking, the fish shop, the table where we had our coffee Oscar, Bellevue and Wilhelm Tham among all ships/boats..
A very long sequens of the Göta kanal Swim(think I told you about it).
There you can go forward fast.
A man talking about Rauken(name of an old fisher-boat and its story)
The corvettes(Also information from a member), the lighthose at the sealoch(sure you recon) and end with a marvellous sunset.

Hej och god morgon.

We have had incredibly nice weather here for quite a while(weeks)now.
Misty mornings but unbeatable days.
I´m mostly out picking mushrooms but sometimes I take by bike and view the beauty.
Unfortunatly they are as its best at the same time and it´s hard to choose.

I´m pretty sure you will meet the beautiful colours in Småland(maybe depending at what time of the month).
They are just in the start here.

This weekend it´s harvest feast here and I´ll participate in Norrqvarn.
Hopefully I can find time for some pictures.
Open Garden(that we visited)is even more open now and lited with searchlight until 01.00 Saturday night.

Going to Mariestad today for September-market.

Have an enjoyable day
