Gidday Gypsy, Herman & Snappie,

I hope you're enjoying Christmas Day. Boxing Day over here, I'm watching the cricket on telly and playing with fotki at the same time!

If you have the time, you're welcome to come over to our place for Christmas as long as you promise not to laugh at our humble cooking,. Viviane was very kind!

Candles are a gift of light,
A tiny sun, a bit of star.
No other dancer in the night
Dances with such sheer delight,
Little souls serene and bright,
Each a glimpse of what we are
Shining innocent and pure.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Peteris
P.S. HO, HO, HO - my dreams became a truth - just short time ago we got some snow! Everything became around much lighter!

Dear Fotki Friends

The snow and ice of the last few days was a pleasant surprise before Christmas. It was beautiful and lots of fun!

But the temperatures are rising again and the snow and ice melting. So Snappie and I are packing our bags to find some Christmas Sun!

Thank you for your friendship, visits and comments during 2007! It was a great year.

Merry Christmas to You and your Families and Best wishes for 2008!

Merry Christmas and a happy New year Gypsy. I wish you and your family a wonderful holiday.........may it be the best one yet! I'll try not to be such a stranger in 2008, I'm spending far too much time with work at the moment, but I'm sure that will change soon and I'll be able to start visiting again. Kindest regards, your friend from Yorkshire, Andy x

Thanks Gypsy

Main thing here was the lovely branches,,,(still from the same pier)
but I guess without the setting sun it hadn´t been the same,
of course not even visible.
Warm Christmas-hugs~~ Anne-Marie ~~

Hi Gypsy I can't thank you enough for the tip on the collage program. I had so much fun doing them, I kind of got carried away LOL. When I first saw yours, I thought: what a great idea it was to have a short fun photo summery for "drive by" visitors to ones albums.

Hi Gypsy

We still have the greyest of grey days here in the south of the country.
And it will remain that way for the rest of the year.
It´s been like this for at least 8 weeks now and the meterologs calls it
a saucepan lid lying over us.

Way up north it´s been really "warm" for the season some days now
and Nikkaluokta had + 11 yesterday, and a lapp/same walked around in the green grass and was not happy about it.
It aught to be at least -25 and lots of snow as it was some weeks ago up there now.

In Skåne it was below zero at the same time.

I guess the middle of the country(around Dalarna) has a normal season with snow and normal temperature.

Everything is ok here and I´m really happy for your ice,,,better than greyness.
I know it will visit here too, I´ll just have to wait patiently until January.

Have nice and cozy Holidays and take a gentle step into 2008.

Cheers to you both; Anne-Marie
