Sorry I have been MIA... really sick for almost 3 days... not being able to do much.... today I am a lil better and I am sitting here a bit trying to straight things out with my mail and all the responsabilities I have with some of the groups I tag for... if I missed something, please forgive me... I have not been able to be online that much... and my mail is coming all white (have to fix that too... grrrr) so I am erasing it all... as I cannot read them.... who knows why...

Hello there Jay, just stopping by to see if you are ok and to say hello. Wishing you a wonderful and safe week. I have job search workshops to go to this week starting tommorrow. Is it me or did all your name folders disappear? I come here and it takes me to a page with just a few folders on it and all the folders of names you had are gone. I am confused. Ihave come here like six times or more and there is no name folders anymore. I was trying to snag for MOTW. But I guess not hehehehe Well need to get to it. lots of chores. Hope all is well. Fotki had to take my "root" away because it was creating problems... they are trying to fix the glitch and get back to me... hopefully it will be soon as I used to use that root all the time to upload... grrrr... lol...

Same old' same old' in this end but I am soooo happy my HONEY is coming back home tomorrow...
12 days of him not being around was "terrible" and I did not like it at all.... but I am glad he had a chance to visit his dad, family, friends, old neighborhood, and all... it was a good thing as he had not gone back in 9 years... too bad I could not go... but there is always next time. His dad's 65th Birthday was a blast and daddy Stokes told me Edd called him on the phone as he usually does on the weekends... and told him how hard his day was at work... blah... blah... blah.... and after they hang up he (Edd's father) went to where he was suppose to have a "card game" with some friends and he got there it was a huge surprise party.... and then Edd's niece Niki gets to the microphone and says... "and we have another surprise for you...." and he looks around and here is Edd walking in the room... LOL... He told me he almost had a heart attack... lol.... so in all the trip was good... for the happy surprise alone!!! They did a lot of things together including an "Indian's" basketball game... and daddy Stokes' famous BBQ Ribs and Edd enjoyed this time with his father... all is good!
Me I am hanging in there... in my constant fight with my health... but taking one day at a time...

Look at my "Journals" right there on the left side, click on it, as so many people asked me about the placement of photos here in the guestbook that I placed there the instructions I got from Peter (here at Fotki) when he left me a message at my guestbook at Christmas time and explained to me... I placed his entire message there and you can just follow... very easy....
You can also find all tips for new tricks here at Fotki in the "Fotki Blog" and you can reach that blog going to "Fotki Home" and the link is there... they tell you not only how to place graphics but all about the new things at Fotki... so you know...
Glad you could find things you like... that is why I go thru all this trouble to upload things here everyday.. lol... I am trying to reach the status of "Snag Heaven" lol...

They took my laptop along with external hardrive that housed all those goodies for the last 3 years. I'm starting from scratch so it'll be some time before I post one I believe...

Hey Jay, You need to adjust the brightness on your monitor. I was getting optical migraines...the cause the monitor was too bright. Even went to a eye specialist...they didn't know what was causing them. Then I noticed a pattern...so I dimmed my monitor some and haven't had one since. :) It is so eye friendly now. Ok...gotta run. Yeap I think that could contribute and I took your advise and made it less bright... it actually looks better... thank you.
I think I have to also check my lenses... sometimes I feel better with glasses on... maybe they are irritating my eyes to much... Diabetics have a hard time with contact lenses but so far I am okay... but who knows...
My optometrist appointment is coming soon... my regular doctor keeps me going there at least once every two months... Diabetes degenerate the cornea and they have to keep a close look on you. When my dad passed away he donated almost all his functioning body parts to the Diabetic Foundation... There are 2 women out there each with one of my dad's eyes... Diabetics can only receive body parts from other diabetics... Those were my dad's wishes... 63 or more people were benefited by my father's donations and that makes me feel good... mostly skin for burned victims (including babies)... but all that to say... I have to keep a good close look at my eyes all the time... so far so good thank goodness...
