A comment made in fun,, but it caused me to wonder. Is there ANYTHING that is MORE self-indulgent than art? Every work of art is driven by the artist seeing absolute,concrete reality and then saying "Here (in my work in my hands in my mind) is how it is supposed to be"

If life gives you lemons...

so many of the "modified , perfectly shaped , sized and coloured tomatoes often found " are totally without taste.

Outside my kitchen window...I saw this ...and it said "Summer is over"

The inspiration is that there is beauty in many of the smplest closest things..
This photo is truly one of my favorites...and I do not know why....perhaps that is why!
