I'm considering joing your club. I spent Sat afternoon at your land of Oz gathering. I was really surprised how nice & scenic the park was! Met some nice folks there to. I own a 2007 R1200RT , Blue , great Bike! I love to ride so that's what I'm looking for. I have been to the Arkansas bash at the hub, great riding area! We trailered the BMW to Montana & rode Glacier Mt . in July (same time as national Rally). Rode Lolo Trail, Pioneer mtns.Mt., Yellowstone from Bozeman Mt, Rode Beartooth to Cody Wy. , Yo ain't lived until you ride Beartooth, awesome !!!! Montana is a beautiful state by the way. Then I rode to Smokies in september, dragon and the better rides of Cherahola skyway & south end of Blueridge parkway. Oh by the way I really like to ride!
Just looked up this site after reading the chromeheads forum. Good work. Would like to join the club and chat and perhaps pick up tips on riding, trails and maintenance!
After reading a lot on bikes since 1978 (Ted Simon's Jupiter Travels was an inspiration) I just learned to ride last month (through the MSF) and bought a 2002 R1200C. Have 300 miles of riding experience (tee! hee!) and feel ready for a global journey of some kind.....well, all right in a few years, then! I live in Shawnee, KS.
I am an old rider on a new-to-me R12RT from northwest Mo. Been out of motorbike riding for 20 years but got back in a couple of years ago. Had a ball ridin' around the local area and to Lake of Ozarks with a BMW mounted buddy of mine but am ready to go farther and see and do more.
Picked up your newsletter at Engle's March 8. Just found the website and enjoyed all the photos. Might consider joining.
Had a message from Alan Bruns for our DVD at Chapel Australian Bike Tours. Just had a look at a few of your pics - you look like you really have a good time in Kansas City!
The DVD will be posted tomorrow - hopefully will arrive within the week. Enjoy the DVD - please email us your comments.
Enjoy the road where ever you travel Mick & Marg McHenry
I host a not-for-profit Biker memorial site. The url is ... http://www.bikersforjesus.org/bikermemorial/index.php. Please consider posting a link to this site and encourage others to use it to post tributes to our brother and sister bikers.
We don't have a links page on this site. It is strictly a memorial site. No ads - no banners - and no reciprocal links. Isn't that how you'd like your tribute to be? If you choose not to link to it, at least spread the word that it's available.

I'm planning a trip to the nat'l this year and hopefully to Key West in the fall too. Next year...hopefully Alaska or Copper Canyon Mexico. Anyone wanna come with us to either of these locations?
Paul, The pictures brought back a lot of wonderful memories of old friends and great times with KCBMWMC. Remembering all the hard work and fun at the Rallies we wish our health allowed us to ride again. Keep up the good work and hugs to all our friends. Barb

Paul - I enjoyed meeting you and Larry this eventing on Brookside. As a new RT owner, I am full of questions about the bike, accessories and touring. I'm looking forward to information about the upcoming meeting and the rally. Thanks for your help!
Dear KCBMWMC, I'd like to join, but I can't without a working bike! Do you all have anyplace I could take a R65 to be worked on other than Engle Motors? They just can't find the time to do it. Thanks! ---Sean Santoro 913 441 5025
