Good morning Judy How`s life treating you ? I`ve been away and so has my means of comunicating - The computer has been ill for some time and we had been feeding it stuff bought over the counter but in the end it had to go to the doctors for proper investigations and nursing care......So It is now up to it`s normal speed and it`s inoculations are up to date (with a years supply) and it has more muscle !!! And so - how is your self I enjoyed the view of your dog shots . And your poser work - I have thought about the medium much and what it was about it that was allowing me in closer to it`s imagery........ I wonder perhaps , the image being unreal , it it released me from guilt , into not having to give personal answers , but free to "taste" Annie Leibovitz did an image of a painted woman with the feelings and role expectations painted on her (corcoran gallery washington dc 1990) (I`ve googled her but could not find the image to refer you to it , sorry) , but because it neither a photo or a painting it struck me powerfully about women (2 x 3 feet copy of it hangs on my wall ).. I submitted in the b/r an image of suffering by the male aggressive values - I`ll post you a link , but I could not get over the problem of it`s ordinaryness ..... Tell me........ Would you be prepared to do a poser image to depict an idea of mine ? I must tell you the idea first of course................... A vulnerable person has commited suicide and it is because of the credit culture of it no longer OK to live beyond your means ..... The dialog under the image goes something like this policeman investigating the death - "You know this woman Mr politician ?" No sir - she may have given me her vote but how can I help everyone?" "And you too Mr banker , You intimate with this woman ?" "I admit we had a relationship and I loaned her some money , but I cannot be blamed for this" What do you think I`s position in the b/r would not be the reason for you to submit it but to get viewers sharing................. I see you too had an invite to the b/r with a "clothing is optional" fromit`s monitor Well my offending you was not meant and I am so sorry you took it My comments were to do with the thigh distortion under the buttock and , the time taken as a consideration for the viewer`s judgement in the competition. I think dishing out medals in art is like taking olympians and dishing out medals for time it takes for each athelete to prepare or which one is the most attractive - daft idea dont you think.........? Yet some folk think it is not daft to treat art similarly.............. I do........ So I dont vote....... So when two others comment - as two did under yours - about if folk new thus and so then your work would be much higher I commented once to challenge their judgement And to comment on the strange thighs But some folk like nuddies and dont mind if the image isn`t pleasing to my eye - so why should I be troubled if my comment isn`t pleasing to their ear - The b/r competition monitor says "dress not essential" Some people want the liscence to offend but dont take too kindly to an offensive comment I believe you took offence because of my ignorance of your disability - I was ignorant......... Perhaps there is some way you cold inform the fotki viewers that you wish that to be considered in future I am quite sure though that as I get to know you more , more importantly I will get to know more of your work ...... BTW - loved the rose looking as though it had been painted....... ..............Richard
