I love your picture-a-day concept. What a great way to document your life and not just the big stuff. I always have my camera with me but more often than not forget it's in my bag when something catches my eye.
Thanks. I need to take your approach "This year I decided to take at least one photo every day." I have not taken much this year. The fireworks were my first attempt, and my camera manual blew into the Hudson river!! I am going to get some tealite candles this weekend and float them in water to work on my night shots. I figured out on the 4th that I really do not know how to change my camera settings on the fly like I need to.
