Thank you! I'm so very very happy to be natural. It was a very interesting journey and I enjoyed it. I learned so much about my hair, more than I ever imagined and i'm still learning. I only wished I started this sooner. Your progress will always be amazingly inspiring. Keep up the awesome work.
Thanks for posting the update. Your hair is so ideal, the strands are thick from root to end. I luv your gorgeous mane and like your plan to leave it alone and let it do its thing.
love your hair!!! everytime i see it my jaw just drops!!!!.. what is your regimen and what products do you use??? what is your hair type? please keep me updated!!
Hi Carmamelhoney01! Awww - thanks for the compliments but I must say your hair looks beautiful! Keep doing what you're doing!!
I have a really simple regimen AFTER finding what works for me. Tried a whole lot of stuff but either it's a pain to get or just too darn $$$ so my product list is really short. I love Pantene's Smooth (old) or Medium to Thick (new) conditioners and use them constantly, even between washes. Silicone doesn't bother me anymore since I do use shampoo. For shampoo, I use Elasta QP's creme conditioning shampoo - it's very gentle on the scalp and doesn't strip the hair. Deep conditioners are Aphogee 2-step (hard protein) every 4-6 months and a cholesterol product (Elasta Qp or Lustrasilk). I also use olive oil as needed to help seal in moisture or if I'm wearing it straight, as a moisturizer.
Not really into the hair typing but for description sake, I've been told it's 3c/4a. It's very afro textured, tangly and thick so I mostly follow the advice of my 4a and 4b sisters.
