Hi Geof,

Thank you for stopping by my page and leaving a comment on the one of the father and son walking on the beach in the water. It is one of those candid moments that caught my eyes. The Jersey Shore at Sandy Hook has many diffrent areas to get pictures of. I just started taking them there. It has an old Navy base and some other interesting nature and man made places to explore. I'm going to add you as a friend so I can check out more of your pictures. Have a good day, Scott

they don't have protective covers for the size it is, so they suggested joining a couple of hard cardboard tubing together and mailing it in that !

Hey, I had a thought. I did a home building project a few years ago and bought a cardboard "concrete form" that was pretty large in diameter and was about 4-6 feet long as I remember. It only cost a few dollars as well. It would probably do the trick! I assume you have building material/home centers "down under".

I have browsed through only SOME of your photos Geof, but what I've seen so far is stunning.

You may very well be the worlds slowest photo editor!

Of course.. if I lived where you live and had Summer just starting on the beach.. I wouldn't be hanging around a computer either!! Take a photo of one of them half-nekkid ladies from the bar at the beach for me ... remind me of warm weather!! LOL

Frost was on the grass this morning.. snow flurry possible on Monday :(

Back from my swim...Whew! Interval swimming kicked my butt!

Jon is in all of the soccer albums. I think he's labeled on the thumbnails for the Tournament albums...he's Jon #2. He had a bit of a disappointment this week. Remember the National Tournament I told you his team qualified for to take place in November in Florida? Well, he didn't make the roster for the finals. He took the news pretty well, but I'm not sure what he's thinking inside. I know I was bummed. He's usually got a pretty good attitude about setbacks though and he'll turn this into a learning tool.

Have a great evening...I'm off to complete my workout!

Thanks for your comments, Geof! I take it you made it back to Aussie land ok. It probably feels great to be home.

Off for a morning swim...talk with you soon!

Did I shoot this shot with the crummy "green" 5D you own, or is it that you got too close to the nuclear plant trying to get that shot

Hi Geof!

It's been more than a year since turning myself in a passive mode here on Fotki... The main reason is a tremendous growth of activity at Zorz Studios resulting from greater exposure, increasing referrals and bookings, taking on new artistic projects, travel, establishing a shared location in our Manhattan studio, and active presence on Facebook.

I would love to make a comeback to Fotki to share all the spectacular work we did... but need to allocate time for that - a seemingly impossible task nowadays...

While I am struggling with time management, I invite you to connect with me on Facebook where my fans have an advantage of sneak previews of anything exciting as early as the following day. You can find me as Ed Hafizov there, and also become a fan of Zorz Studios page (http://www.facebook.com/pages/New-York-NY/Zorz-Studios-Fine-Art-Wedding-Photography/32619948229).

Also, I invite you to visit my blog at www.zorzstudios.com/blog for news and updates.

In the meantime, here is a glimpse of what I shot in the last year (click photo below to see the rest of the collection):

What's a 'Light Meter' anyway ? I'm actually pretty good at reproducing 'green' anyway without using a meter..!

If you look at the photo in full size original, you can see you are pushing the WRONG button!! No wonder we got a bad reading LOL
