Just got back from a vacation and read the message Myra was so kind to post in my guestbook . Fred has always been a kind and friendly person to me and I will remember him that way! Rest in peace Fred.

I can only echo Myra's sentiments. Fred was also very friendly & welcoming to me when I first joined fotki & I've missed him. My thoughts & prayers go out to his family.
Thank you for letting me know. Fred was the first person who made a friend of me when I joined fotki, and he was always encouraging, funny, and helpful to me. I was sorry when he could no longer maintain his fotki site, due to illness, and several of us contacted fotki at the time, and asked that his fotki site remain open, which fotki were kind enough to allow. I have thought of Fred from time to time over the years since, and I am very sorry to hear of his passing. He has gone to a better place, and I will remember him.
