heres the reply for the bun question.. Oooo nice side bun!! How do you form your buns? tuck ends under after pony tail? wet or dry bun
I did this on damp hair, I co-washed the night before and my hair hadn't dried through. I did exactly that, did a pony and tucked the ends under.. hth's! __________________________
I don't know much about single strand knots - I found a cowash and bun challenge , I'll ask the girls in there and see what they've experienced..
I've only done it the once this week for an hour... I have to say that when I had it on i felt some tingling but that faded after a lil while... I duno if it was like exfoliant or what but when I washed out the conditioner my hair felt really silky.. google natural hair lightening, chamomile is another method.. see what suits you best.. heres a link about honey http://forums.longhaircommunity.com/showthread.php?t=148
I've been moisturising my hair as usual and felt no dryness... you're skin tone isn't too far off mine(althought flash on a camera says different), take baby steps if you are going to try it and leave it on for a short time til its a colour your happy with.. I have no idea if its damaging in the long run so you might be better off trying henna than doing the same as me..
Hi! Your hair is beautiful! I really enjoyed your albums especially your transitioning albums! I really like the different styles you create with your hair! Good luck in your hair journey! I added you as a friend. =)
Oh trust me your hair is beautiful, its definitely come a long way since you chopped.. I wish I could try some kbb!! My sis is going to be in NY next spring so I'll make a request then! What kind of texture is the nector?
I'm doing alright.. just wishing for length as everyone is! I'm experimenting with cinnamon to try and naturally lighten my hair.. I'm really loving the ginger hair tones when I look at other peoples hair... I'm not brave enough to use a chemical dye.. I'm actually sitting here with it in my hair now! I've read chamomile lightens hair too... I looked a various henna mixes for some lighter tones but I have no idea what shades those ppl were before they henna'd.
Hey Faith, thanks for stopping in! Yeah, the bun I did was just a regular bunny tail that I gathered the ends of, twirled, looped over (upward, not downward) and secured with one or two bobby pins. I accidentally left a section of hair out so I twirled that and wrapped it around the bun. Hope that helps, let me know if you have anymore questions :-}
PS- Great updates. I love the new styles you're trying and your hair looks supple and healthy. Keep it up!
