Hey guys remember me ? It's me Jay saying hello from sunny Florida. Just wanted to say I really miss you guys and I hope everyone is doing well, I have been here now for about 3 years and I just attended my first model show the other day....small show but really good bunch of guys, the MAGS club (Modeling Assoc. of the Gulf Coast). The one HUGE highlight of the day was meeting a gentleman by the name of Dirk Joseph. You all know his work the latest is a 1:12 "SPIDERMAN" drag bike which is about 98% scratchbuilt. Well turns out we live pretty close to one another and Mr. Johnson saw my cars at the show we struck up a friendship and he wants to teach me how to mill my own parts because he thought I was ready to hopefully take it to the next level. A really great and humble man his work is mind blowing and hopefully I will advance my modeling skills. I wish to start paying my dues again I know I'm about 1200 miles away but my heart will always be with the LIARS. Hope to hear from you guys soon. Jay
ive been building models on and off again for about 30 years, im going to start building again .the liars site gives me helpful ideas for new kits that i will soon start. i recentle moved to lancaster pa and i should have plenty of time.thanx and id like to say hi to mr will seagrave and his bro
Hi my name is Martin and i use to make models but with 2 jobs and school i don't have any time to built and i have some parts if any one wanted they are free just let me know thank you.
Hi, Paul from "Paul's toy box" suggested that I check this site out, and some of the models on here have blown my mind. I started making models some 38 years ago when I was 3 years old and just out of nappies/dipers (sorry, I'm English), and considered myself to be pretty good until I looked here. Now I realise that I'm not satisfied with "pretty good", I want my models to be awesome like the ones on this site. Keep up the good work, it's inspiring.
Ladys&gentlemen of the L.I.A.R.S. model car club, I want to sincerely say thank you for making someone who came from Illinois feel very welcome with your friendly atmosphere at your 2004 L.I.A.R.S. Challange. I enjoyed meeting club members and others with interesting conversation about our hobby. Also thank you for the overwhelming recognition of my AMC replica. Please keep up the great work!
Looking forward to this years show and seeing the work of other modelers. Is there any thought to having an auction similar to the one Masscar has.It would be great. I would even be willing to donate a few kits to the cause.
I've been to your shows at the Imperial Manor and at the Freeport Center.I must say you all do nice work. Will the show be there this year?I like to know, cause I enjoy going to see the work and to pickup some new and old kits. It's a great thing this hobby.Keep on modeling.........Rob
I love the new website. Tom "Curly" Valenta is doing a GREAT job setting this up. Now we'll have LOTS of room to show off our madness... The stuff that is still to come will be just GREAT...
Hi guys, love your stuff, saw your show in Freeport last month. Mine don't come out that well! I have a bunch of old modeling mags, mostly from the 90's, but I have some older ones. I'm moving to smaller quarters, do you want them? Write me. ---Hank---
