I thought I'd stop and say hi, just discovered ur fotki, I'm not as active these days but I do browse occasionally. Don't lose faith with transitioning and being natural, it seems so many women have it easier but you just have to persevere! I just took my hair down after a whole year of not having it out and it's gotten so thick I threw it straight back in braids. You're obviously great at the senagalese twists so find a way to make it work for you until its long enough that u can throw it in a hair bobble and go. Lord knows I've been patient lol Anyways enuff of me and my sermon. HHG!
Seems like we're at the same place in our transition. loving your pics. I hardly ever remember to take pics but saying am a plane Jane is an understatement, so it's just always in a ponytail as short as it is...lol.
Hey there! Just wanted to share with you Afroniquely You, a blog that caters to natural hair, beauty, modest fashion, and lifestyle. Please come on over and check it out at http://afroniquelyyou.com I'm sure you'll love it. Sincerely,Shae
I think your styling your hair beautifully and I agree that you have to do what YOU feel is best for your hair. If you feel that the BW is a better option for styling it quicker/easier, no one should judge you. Let me know when you update :o)
I'll like to invite u to join our facebook group, hope to see you there. Post pics, comments, suggestions...whateva. Our aim is to show the world that natural hair is superfly.
LOL thanks! yeah no BC for me! I've always had long hair so short hair is just not going to cut it for me...just my personal preference =D plus I say if your relaxed hair is willing to stick it out with you why not...haha...that's why I think your curly weaves are fantastic it!!! Get it Get it girl!!!!
LOL True true I hear that one...my regrowth is just about up to below my collarbone stretched out and then then relaxed ends vary in lengths. I know i'm exactly the same, I had it all cut before and it was like hell for me so i wouldn't do it again, so weaves and braids it is for now I guess :)
thanks for the add!! i have added you as well!! you seem to be on the right track!! weave is an excellent way to let the hair rest!!! hope to see updates in the future!!
