Hi,

I'm glad you that your area of FL. did not get too messed up with Hurricane Fay. But I see that another one is comming. I bet there are lots of interesting cloud pictures to take before the storm really comes in. Did you have to go to higher ground or can you stay where you live? My fiancee Minnie has family in Puerto Rico and they have been really lucky the passed few years. Just one Tropical Storm this year. PR does get a lot of rain showers during the summer. if I ever get caught up on making albums. i have some more pictures from her parents house. I have some pictures in an album for Minnie's parents 50th Wedding Aniversery on Fotki. Hope all is well. Scott

Hey dear! Thanks for the recipe. I think that is the same one I use. I will have to compare. I may have to make this soon! We have a tradition on Christmas. I make this cake and we decorate it with a candle. The kids and I sing happy birthday to Jesus. Corny I know, but the kids love it. Hugs!

Since blueberries are in season. I thought I would share a dessert. BigBadWolf asked for it, so I gave it to him. :) Now it is your turn. I may have gave it to you last year. If I did, sorry. If you did have it and lost it. Well, thank me. HAHA! Hugs and have a good night!

Here is Betty's Blueberry Crunch.
4 cups of blueberries
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup all purpose flour
3/4 cup uncooked oatmeal
1/2cup of butter
1/8 tsp. cinnamon

Place blueberries in a 2 quart casserole dish, and spread evenly. Combine remaining ingredients and sprinkle over blueberries.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

**Microwave oven** Cook for 25 minutes on medium heat. Check after 20 minutes.

Delicious with ice cream too!

Thanks for the recent comments. I will return the favor soon. :)

We closed on Tuesday the 19th because they really didn't know where it would go. Better to be safe than sorry I guess.

Yes, Gustave is south of us. They say it may effect us early next week. Here we go again!

I have a friend who lives on the east coast and they got hammered. I also had a CT friend who was in Orlando last week and her vacation got ruined with rain.

Take care.

Ha! you didnt get any rain because it is all over here. The weather here said it has been raining here for at least the last 50 hours and some places have gotten upwards of 25 inches of rain!!!! The storm as a whole has not been horrible, but I have had enough of being soaked and now it is just stalled on top of us over here! I am ready for some sunshine!!!! Glad to hear you guys on that side of the state escaped the worst tho!

Hey,

Yes, Fay turned out to be nothing for us. I'm thinking we may have more of a chance of rain and when it becomes a hurricane in the Atlantic and comes back our way. I was off yesterday because Pinellas County Gov't closed. I went in for a hour to do some phone calls to my co-workers on their work schedules and that was it. My friend lives near Melbourne and said they got lots of rain. My friend in Marco Island said they did pretty good considering it came on shore near them.

Take care.

I am glad to hear you are safe. YAY! I wish we had more rain here. The river is so low that you can be out in the middle of it, and it is only knee high. Be safe and keep me posted. Hugs!

Hi Cobra
Thanks for the update..... my niece sometimes has to evacuate as the Outer Banks are very vulnerable, sometimes the sea goes right over from the ocean to the mainland. Hope all is well with you, will keep a eye on the world weather.
