Hey girly, I haven't trimmed my ends in about six months, i normally get them trimmed when I get it flat ironed, I haven't found anyone I trust to cut my hair in it's natural state. Your hair could just be weaker it could be what is called scab hair so it's a different texture, you will have to cut it eventually but let it grow out for a few months and then cut it.
I'm currently not trimming because I'm doing a growth challenge. I am sticking to a plan of "search & destroy" only unless it becomes strictly necessary. Lately, I've noticed a few pixie knots (single strand knots) that need to be clipped, but that is all I plan to cut.
As for you, you need to find someone who knows natural and/or curly hair and is comfortable dry-cutting and spending the time to get it right. Also you're looking for someone willing to do a micro-trim and not take of an inch or more of healthy growth. Sorry I can't give a specific recommendation! Maybe a post on nappturality.com? There are quite a few Baton Rouge and Nola curlies around besides me....
Hi! thanks for stopping by my page. I dont realy know what the ingredients are in the mixedchics deep conditioner but i do kow that it had silicones in it. It is a really good conditioner though because it makes your curls really defined.
