I have really enjoyed viewing this site. Thank you for all of your work and efforts.
My name is Gayle Warmbrodt, my grandfather is Bryson Warmbrodt and his mother was Mary Copple ( I believe). I see the Copple name several times on the site but did not recognize any first names or pictures.
My grandparents lived in Sedan, Elgin and Bartlesville. My grandmother is Sylvia Bowman Warmbrodt. She is the niece of former Osage Indian Chief, Sylvester Tinker so I have found pictures of her at the Osage Indian Museum but I wanted to ask you if you have any knowledge of pictures of either family - the Warmbrodts, Bowmans or the Tinkers.
The Warmbrodts I have heard opened a restaurant or Chocolatiere at one point. I would love to have a picture of that.
Hi, My name is Annette Christerson Hale and I am interested in the Christerson family. If you have any information I would love to know what you have. Thanks, Annette Christerson Hale
I have no information on the families you seek, but if need some research done, you can contact The Chautauqua County Historical Society 115 West Main Sedan, KS. 673361. Research fee is $10 per hour and copies are 50 cents each.
Hi Lois, I saw Vera Miller yesterday in Sedan and she told me that you had left some photos at the library to be added to the website. I am going to try and attend the meeting on July 7th and I can scan and get the photos then and get them added. We do not have internet service at our library so I have to do it at home. Please be patient and I will get them added. Thanks for donatin them and I am so happy you had a good time and found some things to help you. Freida Wells
Hello Freida, Just wondering if you had an update as to when the photos I left with Vera Miller might be posted? Maybe they are and I just can't find them. I can get lost on the computer some times. Thank You , Lois
Lois, IF they are the ones I saw, they were printed on paper and will not scan well to be added. I did look at them. Is there any way you can send prints via email? Freida
Freida, I should have asked you is there a special email address you would like me to use. I did try the yahoo address but it said there was no yahoo account and the email did not go thru.
You can email me at mailto:mailto:freida49@yahoo.com. Be sure and spell my name with an "ei" I spell my name differently than it should be spelled. If you can scan the actual photos I will glady add them for you. Thank you again for writing.
In May, either the 17th or 18th my daughter and I visited Sedan and the genealogy library and had a great time. We found info that brought a smile to our faces. Sorry, but I can't remember the lady working there but she was a great help. I left pictures with names and dates on them for posting in your on line files. I was wondering when that might be completed. (photos were of people mentioned in my previous email--which are buried in Cedar Vale Cementary) Thank You!! Lois
My great grandfather Alonzo Adams, born 3-20-1842, died 4-5-1874 is buried in the Cedar Vale Cemetery along with his wife Elizabeth Caroline Tabler Adams, Woods. (2nd marriage). My grandmother Wilhamina Adams was born in Cedar Vale on 9-30-1874. Is it possible to find any records that would let us know where they lived. My daughter and I will be in Cedar Vale and Sedan in May, 2011. There are also other relations buried there, Mary Jane Hollingshead Tabler, John Pricel Tabler died 8-14-1927, Lovie Bell Adams died 4-7-1871, just to list a few. Thank You P.S. We do have photos of some of the people and can bring copies if you like.

Good luck on your search and thank you for your comment on our site. Freida Wells.
I am interested in finding a picture of my great-grandmother, Rachel Boulanger, and any information regarding the Boulanger family. My grandmother's name was Nellie Boulanger-Duffey-Rankin-Roach. My father's name was Duglas Walter Duffey. My name is Ann Duffey-Brost-Anderson. I have an old photo album of my Grandma's, but there aren't any pictures of Rachel Boulanger in it that I can make out. Thank you.
We corresponded with each other some time ago and you were going to send me photos that you have of the Duffey family. I had not heard from you. To date I have not been able to find a photo of Rachel. You might check with the Osage Indian Museum in Pawhuska, OK. I have been told there is a photo of Isaac Boulanger there, but I do not know about Rachel.
I went to school with a male Boulanger. This was in Peru KS in the early 70s. There is a web site on facebook for Peru where there are class year books. Might also be other contacts and information for you there.
Thanks so much for writing. My husband and I both are related to the Boulanger/Duffey family. He thru the Boulanger, Rachel's mother was a Rooks from Grundy Co., MO and so was my husband's gt gt grandfather's James and Willis Rooks. I am related thru the Copple/Duffey family. Rose Copple Duffey was my great aunt.
I wish I could tell you have a photo of Rachael but I am sorry to say I do not. The granddaughters of Rose and Patrick Duffey did not have any photos of their family until I gave them to them. I would love to see the photos you have, is there any way you can send them to me I would be happy to post in your name on the site. Freida Wells
I'm very interested in the Chataqua area ... my great uncle was E C Ackarman. Any photos or stories that give any insight to that side of the family are GREATLY appreciated. E C was my great grandfather's brother(Henry Ackarman). Apparently when Henry moved from Perry Co IN to Evansville IN, the spelling was changed to AckErman. I had no knowledge of this part of the family (Ackarman) until I started doing genealogy research a few years ago. This is a wonderful site and has provided me much information - thank you .... so much!!!! Kay
Hi, I really enjoyed your site. Thanks for all the effort you have put in contributing information. We are searching for our grandfather and I sent an email since I noticed Oscar was a brakeman and so was our grandfather. And he and his father worked for the rail road for many years. All of us that are searching appreciate all the information that families have put out there FREE for us to search. I really really enjoyed your old photo's. I am also writing family stories which is my real passion. Thanks again, Suzan
